Thalia, it's been months since we've had a Danger Mission, Ghosts in the Machine, and Knights seem to have enjoyed it. I want to see a new fifth Danger Mission made! Please make a new Danger Mission! It won't take long to make a new Danger Mission.

EDIT: Liking the fact that the greavers got a boost, their the only challenge anymore, but hopefully gorgo's will add to the fiend family.
they remind me of the "dog" from Despicable Me.
Hmmm... hmmm... hmmm... New fiends? I rather would like more beast, cuz it's really poor family, but that would be good too.
Can't wait to slain them. ;)

another waste of an update and again no promo,this time last year we had 3-4 very good promos this time this year none,also no new missions or content
Why would we NEED a promo? That's ALL OOO put out for about 3 months. This IS new content, a new monster and we all know they said Battle Sprites were coming out mid year, i'm glad OOO's isn't putting out more promos. Happy Canine?
Yeah, I would also rather see other families added to. I already don't like fiends, and avoid them whenever possible (except T1), now I have more fiends to avoid. sigh. At least greavers will spawn in smaller packs...
Did anyone fully read the greaver update? They get more HP but don't travel in as big of a pack. So is it really a buff then?
Gorgos are bulbous fiends who are constantly on the lookout for their next meal. Sounds like someone I know :Y
I think it's a buff. The reduced numbers might not matter, although this may be a matter of perspective.
As for the Gorgos (Gorgoes?) I can't wait to see what they look like (at the time of typing this).
While I don't like fiends, I will go to the arcade and see how tough they are. As for the health boost to the greavers, I wouldn't necessary call it a buff.More like fake difficulty.You aren't changing the way the greaver is attacking, or making it's attack stronger.It just takes longer to defeat.
Aaaaaaaaaaaand..... begin the complaints about the update taking too long to download:
I already got the update done.. and now I am a little angry. The forced change in the controls are pretty dumb.
I use WASD to move but also left click to move when I boost or shield. Now if you pick WASD controls the game makes your mouse left click attack and right click defend.
Why was this even needed? I have go to customize my controls back to the way where they actually worked like we needed them too?
Anyone want to tell me what options I need to change since this butchered my controls? Which was Spiral Knights' default controls before this update.
-edit- Ok I think I've figured it out.
Pick WASD controls, then go back and pick customize.
Change left mouse back to move forward.
Change right click back to attack.
Change shield back to X.
Change space bar back to Next Weapon
I think thats everything back to the defaults before this update.
Well, actually many people do recommend shield and attack with mouse, move only with keys instead of the default you're fond of.

Being able to turn using the keyboard without having to move in that direction! BRAVO!

That is not the default from before the update. That doesn't use WASD. I edited my post above and said how to fix it for people like me that don't want attack and shield on the mouse when we used left click to boost in LD or move while shielding.

Guys greavers are now elite monsters.
That means that if you do an arcade feind arena you will be swarmed by 12 greavers at once. Avoid fiend arenas at all costs.
Just fought the Gorgoes. No wonder the Devilites don't want to turn into them: they are ugly as sin.
Seems that Heart of Ice gonna be more difficult with the new change of health for Greavers. Yeah!
Still waiting for new missions with mini-monsters or Gorgos, OOO.

Did the weapon charging sound get tweaked so that it is no longer cut off when the charge completion sound is played?
Edit: Seems to be a bug; charge sound continues even if you cancel a charge, anyone else confirm this?
I like how the change to make Greavers less swarmy now results in the largest Greaver swarm ever with additional health in arenas, think you missed that mark with that one OOO.
It seems the "Terminal Meltdown" and "The Vile Engine" missions now have compound levels.

Wow...I can't wait. When I get to try them later, I'll make sure to use my best fiend gear!
I approve of this update. The new control scheme is NICE (no more or at least less telling new players that they have a shield, and no more derpy default controls, sorry woodanct, but the new default controls seem to be relatively close to how most players I know play the game :P) and the grievers/gorgos were integrated nicely (rather than nerfing grievers, which would have been a might bit sad even if not entirely uncalled for, they buffed them- but changed up their placement? NICE!), as far as I can tell. I haven't totally played through it, so don't quote me on this, but so far, it looks and seems perfect.
Haven't played much of the gorgos yet. Only saw them once and they seemed a slight bit easy, but even so- its a new enemy for me to kill so I am very happy. And I barely saw them, so they could pull a fast one on me.
Also@Aurorra- they can fill THAT wave? The one I'm thinking of? Oh dear. I can't wait to fight the buffed greiver swarm on the arenas. That's going to be hilarious.
If they won't give me a new name, maybe they will change the UV on my Divine Avenger to ASI VH to make me feel better...
...but I never knew that we'd let them leave the burning cubicles. As for you, Gorgotron, how would you like to be the first fully-mechanic gluttonous employee? You do have the name for it! In addition, I never knew where those Gorgos came from in the first place... thanks for the information, Knights!
I have only fought the tier 3 version and they seem like they have a homing triple bite like the prenerfed alpha wolvers. At least I think so they did hit my shield quite a bit.

On all the games I've played I've been known to setup my controls in a way that other players don't. Like skill bars, attacks, etc

Well, I saw these things coming out of the sky

IDK if it's the same that was discussed on the test forums as I didn't go there, but they do have a stomp attack... although it was pretty rare for them to use it (maybe because I've only seem them on T2). From what I've seem they are just shadow dealing wolvers that can't teleport and try to stomp us sometimes.
i just i know how to fix my control..
I can't move in WASD movement where the mouse is pointing. :(
I think the stomp attack only happens in the second stratum of a tier
I liked having left mouse as a sort of auxiliary movement. I utilized z/x a lot for attacking/shielding and it made directional aiming and movement, as well as shield cancelling, a bit smoother. I get that they needed to rearrange junk for shield bashing and dashing, but this could have been thought out more.
Like, you know. Keeping the prior setup available as an option instead of outright removing it because it wasn't in line with some preconceived idea. Huh...where have I heard this before?
The stomp took 11% of my health at depth 9 (wearing chaos cloak and black kat), thought I don't remember the T2 usual damage per hit from other monsters/his bite nor the percentage boost that monsters get on T3 so I can't really say if it's still that powerful.
can u plz downgrade the UI it wasnt really an "upgrade" it is WAY harder. Becuz of this i dont enjoy the game as much as before.
when do the battle sprites come out i have een waiting not to hurry u guys but i need to know along with other players

On the plus side, I would like to fight the new greavers. I love greavers.
