When ever I play lockdown, people of my enemies keep on putting bombs outside my base. How can I stop them? It makes me so laggy.
The unfair thing of lockdown
The bomb that the people use is a high damage bomb
Sooo Nitronome? Just go right after an explosion and you'll get through.
People who spawncamp, especially with bombs are just being a douche. Remind them of a thing called good sportsmanship.
If that doesn't work: follow Zeddy's advice.
As much as I agree, it's pretty hilarious to pop Shivermists outside of the enemy base. Those Chaos people can be damn stubborn and would rather lose terribly hard than switch to Skolver.
@Krakob: As much as I love a good troll, it just isn't fair to people who aren't full-time LD players with shock/stunwalk.
Most people only have 1 set, and bombing them into oblivion at their spawn is more douche-y than I generally like.
Called a gun, use it to hit things from a distance...
And at the very least it's a bomber, not a group of Polaris users, which given the opportunity would be completely out of reach.
Zeddy's advice works too, tbh if the bomber can sit on your base, then they're spreading themself extremely thin, a small timing error would end em if you can catch it.
People who waltz through hazes can honestly go do stuff I'm not gonna specify. It's just pay to win all the way so if you're disabling one person while you can't touch another, I don't see the problem. Not all "full-time" LD players can walk through haze bombs regardless. Anyway, the target audience of Shivermist Buster is Chaos clones. Chaos hasn't been so for so long that an awful lot of people have gotten it as their first set. Most people in Chaos already had a Skolver set or something and not countering a Shiver is just stupid. No matter, I'm willing to bet that 90% of players have a gun. It's not hard to gun someone running around without invinciframes. In fact, I dread nothing more than Antiguas because of this, at least when I'm a guardian.
You're not a douche for adapting to a moving metagame. If anything, you're a douche for whining about the natural motion of it. Spawn camping might not be the nicest thing to do but it's not hard to counter unless it's a gang of fartface Chaos/Skolver clones knocking on your door. It really isn't.
I HAS RIGHT TO WHINE.
Also; don't call me a douche.
Let's just agree to not agree when it comes to spawncamping. I think it testifies of bad sportsmanship, you don't.
I think you're kind of off with your LD demographics but meh.
I didn't call you a douche. I said whining about a moving meta-game is being a douche and you aren't doing that. You're pointing out what you consider bad sportsmanship and I mostly agree. I never said I think spawn camping is good sportsmanship but I wouldn't call Shivermisting that. It's much easier to counter than a gang of strikers standing outside and poking everything that comes outside to death and I already explained how. In fact, shiver can be countered by any gun and any bomb except another shiver (unless only one has immunity to it) and Venom Veiler. Shiver is viable but only slightly so. It is, however, one of the most brutal weapons when it works. It doesn't work too well against a lot of things.
If being merely an Ash Tail is a problem, you can go Guardian and walk through them, by the way. Guardian gives you Medium resistance towards all statuses. Same goes for any other 4* item with freeze resistance as far as I know. If you're lower than that, you're either Xhaba or pretty dang low on health and defence, in which case I fear that you might as well be dead in a single attack.
rip in peas duskers in t3
Also, do note, whenever some players start adapting to Shiver, it's getting useless pretty fast. That's when you switch back to Swagger Storm.
Nah, Red: no fight. Me and Krakob know each other :)
@Krakob: Alright, we agree on some things but for me there's no difference in a bomber or striker spawncamping.
Love that you mentioned xhaba btw :p
What kind of bombs? I do this sometimes when the opposing team has a lot of chaos/alchemers. It's fairly easy to get an immune set and just walk through various haze bombs, but even if you don't have such a set, you can just put up your shield and guard your way through the haze bombs. Guardian shields are totally immune to haze bombs and will, as a bonus, make you invincible to other attacks as well.
I've also seen strikers just dash through haze bombs. If you don't go through the bomb's center, it can be done.
