-Haven is somewhat modernized, the Auction House can be accessed on a phone, and there are some other places including bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and else.

Bio: Auggy is a Champion. Has a love for fire, doesn't mind it at all unless he is being cooked. He started his cereer at the age of 15 and stuck through even after difficult tasks the clock works set before him. During one of these said tasks he witnessed his squad get torn to shreds by Salamanders. Having seen he refused to lead a squad again on the a count of "When I am given a reason I shall". Auggy speneds his time alone or with his Drakon Jeff which he often left in the Laboratory. Auggy tends to keep to him self never showing his emotions or letting other people know, unless he considers them a friend. He waits for one good reason to return to Clockworks till then he assists with dutys around his guild Ice Dragon and Haven.

Life Expectancy: Don't have him disintegrated thats all I ask. You chose I actual want to see my namesake die kinda.

Outside of Armor [Face it, all characters look hotter when you see their deformed faces and disfigured bodies] : A young woman with a fair skin tone. She has bright amethyst eyes, and vibrant oak-colored hair tied up into a single loose bun. Over her white blouse and blue jeans, she wears a brown apron. She usually gets brown fur-lined boots to walk around Haven, although she occasionally grabs a pair of clogs for the festivals every now and then [with a black and red kimono to combo with that!].

If you really wanna go into specifics, she's 5'3, pretty lean as most teen girls go, and gets boys looking at her every now and then. She isn't as pretty as a model, though.

Bio : Felicity is the current and sole owner of a small bakery in Haven, made in the same style as another famous one in Moorcroft. She was taught how to bake and serve others by her fifth cousin (rumours circulate if she had relations with him, although it seems implausible). After her cousin's disappearance, she claimed the title and moved all the furniture and recipes to Haven, where more customers would be attracted to dining. She obtained her exotic equipment during her many adventures in Moorcroft and the Clockworks, most of which were done with her cousin. While she can't hold her own alone in a battle, completing the high-risk missions with her friends and cousins has allowed her to rise in rank into a Champion at a record-breaking age, although she has since retired from adventuring to settle down. However, she does get the urge to spar with a few people at the Training Hall every now and then.

Life Expectancy : I recommend using her as a sort of hub character or a one-scener, as I have plans for her. However, if you want to use her as a more major character, you can. If that's the case, I leave her life expectancy all up to you.

Name: Giovanni Conigliono de Rifugio
Age: 63
Sprite: Luigi the Drakon (uses him as an assistant at the shop)
Loadout: locked inside of an intricately designed chest is all that remains of Giovanni's life as an explorer. After he retired, he sold all of his gear, legendary 5* items that, at the time, were worth at least ten times the crowns he could get if he had sold them now. The only thing left is his Leviathan blade, a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation. He may be older than most knights, but he bested three thugs wearing full Skolver gear with nothing but a spare Proto Sword, so its best not to underestimate him. Still, his old age has left him tired and weary, and he can not last very long in a fight any more.
Bio: an old war veteran, Giovanni used to be a daring young man who would give his life for the good of the Order, but he retired after witnessing his entire party murdered by Darkfire Vanaduke. He now runs a rustic, small, traditional Italian restaurant that resides just by the Barracks, so as to get more business. He and his battle Sprite, Luigi, are the only ones that cook at his restaurant other than his son, Mario, and his granddaughter, Bianca, but the four are worth a hundred chefs each.
Life expectancy: you decide, I came up with this character on the go, so I don't really know much about what I want to happen to him

Blue, Rigele, and GATLEY *******!

Name: Gatley Refurgio
Age: Unknown: 27-32
Sprite: None. Occasionally seen handling E-Class sprites, but none formally.
Loadout: The Golden Rose Chapeau, Snarbolax Coat. Lionheart Shield, Silversix, Lionheart Blade.

Bio: Gatley is mostly known as an elite knight. One of the best vanguards there is. He battles brute strength and cold intelligence with natural skill, dexterity, and cunning. Although he is mostly seen using his blade, he is also a quick-draw artist. Not the best, but very good.
No one honestly knows much about Gatley. He is kind-hearted, noble, and brave. But he is also silent. An outcast. He prefers to work alone. if he wants to leave, he'll just disappear... He does not live in the barracks however. No one knows where he lives.... (Keep it a secret, or make it up.)

Life expectancy: he cannot die. I hope this to be canon to a future fic about Gatley. If you want to get rid of him, just make him disappear. You can make it look like he's dead, but he will live.

Sprite: Seraphynx (helps him in his studies) named Aurora.

Loadout: Skolver set, leviathan blade, Final flourish, Valience, Heater shield.

Bio: Pitu was once a grand knight, now a scientist. Before devoting his life to studies, Pitu was rank of Vanguard. Coming across a group of bandits, he managed to stop them stealing from the auction house. However, that exact same day, his wife and son were killed and his house set on fire. He felthe had lost every thing and only managed to scavenge and find his arsenal. A job popped up one day to become a scientist. He accepted, as he had felt he had lost everything. He now works in the lab with help from his sprite, Aurora. He is seen in a white lab coat with Aurora sitting on his shoulder. He has a small thin blade hidden up his sleve in case of emergency. He also keeps his armor in a glass case and can easily continue back into combat. He is still execptional at combat.

Life Expectancy: He can die further on in the story as long as he takes out his killer with that knife.

Made her have mostly 3-star stuff as well.

Name: Manta

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Sprite [Optional]: Maskeraith named Gizmo to assist her with repair missions.

Loadout/Appearance: Gunslinger Sash, Frosty Fur Coat (costume), Kat Eye Hood (sewed on to the fur coat similar to a hoodie), Deconstructor, Stable Rocket Hammer, slightly modified and upgraded Wrench Wand (for fixing things).
With the hood down, she has tousled, slightly boyish white hair, fair, almost tan, complexion, unusually red irises. She usually has a sleepy, yet somehow determined look on her face.

Bio: She was found in a back alley of Haven, drugged but moderately healthy, by a member of the Spiral Order. She was subsequently taken to a hospital, where, after she woke up, they found she had no memory of her identity, her childhood, or anything about herself for that matter. However, they also found she had extraordinary knowledge of mechanics and engineering, almost past that of current times. Unable to glean any information from the mysterious young girl, they placed her under the custody of the Spiral Order and enrolled her in a vocational school. During that time, she rose to the top of her class with ease, and gained a rather fiery and ambitious attitude in the process. She currently works as one of the Head Mechanics in the Spiral Order, repairing machinery in the Clockworks to keep the Spiral Order's plans (*sunglasses* well-oiled. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHno) moving along smoothly.

Life Expectancy: It's up to you, but I'd like it to be a... surprise, if that's fine with you.

Chapter 1: Morlin's Lab

The Elevator hummed as it rose up to one of the Gates in the Arcade. Hearthstone played with Hexodus while they were in the elevator, awaiting the arrival of the elevator to the Arcade. The Elevator Door opened and Hearthstone skipped outside and floating behind her was the ghost. "C'mon, Hex, let's--" she began, when her phone buzzed. She pulled back her hood and grabbed the device. She unlocked the device and a message was on-screen:

Report to Biotech Morlin immediately. Location, LAB - Garrison. Click on the link for a map. - Feron

"What, now?" Hearthstone mumbled, and glanced above her shoulder, Hexodus was floating in circles. She giggled at the sight, and told the ghost, "Come now, little ghost. We'll see Uncle Morlin."

And there, she exited the Arcade through one of the larger gates. Hexodus made haste to follow her, and soon they reached a large building with two veteran knights guarding the entrance. She waved at the two knights, greeting them with, "Hey guys." The veterans greeted back with a salute and no more. Hearthstone passed them, and entered the Lab.

"Hiya uncle!" Hearthstone greeted and hugged the masked man who was focused on a monitor. The man turned and took off the mask. It revealed a slightly aging face, but still young and vigorous. On his chest was a badge and a name patch, bearing the name: M O R L I N.
"Hello, my niece," Morlin greeted back, and hugged the fifteen year-old. "You've grown."
"Thanks. Lt. Feron told me to report. But what the heck does he want me to?" Hearthstone laughed, and glanced everywhere. The Lab was filled with monitors and machines. They glowed a faint blue color, and some trainee-biotechs attended them.
"Well... I trust your trip to the Clockworks went right?" Morlin asked.
"Yeah, and I found something new!... Well... At the cost of my teammates' lives." Hearthstone grimly said, then was filled with joy when she came to the better part. "It was a ghost... thing."
"A ghost you say?" Morlin further inquired.
"Yeah. It attacked me from afar, while being invisible! When I hit it with a rebound of one of my Alchemer's bullets, it appeared and did some kind of attack. It was a set of quills that it fired at me!" Hearthstone told the story, Morlin listened with curiosity. "Oh! Also, it followed me here."
"Really? Let me see." Morlin said.
"Okay!" Hearthstone agreed, and took out her phone. She unlocked the device, and browsed for one application. She soon found the right one, Battle Sprites. She tapped on it, and zooming on the screen was a 3D model of the ghost along with its stats and a few options on a tabbed menu on the right. She tapped on the tab, and scrolled for Materialize. She tapped on the option, and appearing before uncle and niece's eyes was a ghost. The ghost floated around Hearthstone, who simply giggled at the action.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!..." Morlin exclaimed.
"Why, what is it?" Hearthstone asked.
"It's a Battle Sprite." Morlin replied.
"Wait... that's what they're called?" Hearthstone said, "Aren't those Sprites just used for recon reasons?"
"Yes, but the three caches that the Skylark lost seemed to have opened, and the sprites have adapted according to the nature of where they fell." Morlin said, examining the ghost. "This ghost likes you a lot. I suppose you should keep it."
"Really?! Oh thank you, Uncle Morlin!" Hearthstone exclaimed, and hugged the old man.
"Take care, my niece. And don't forget to feed it! Ask Biscotti for details and Riley there for something special for your pet!" Morlin yelled as the teenage girl runs off with the ghost.

Good chapter, your writing is pretty good. However, you do need to work a bit on flow between actions and such. Try to make things less linear (I'll provide examples later). Also, your description of things is okay, but it needs some work, go a little more in-depth in the illustration of people, places, and objects. For instance, Morlin's face: "His face hadn't aged much, wrinkles hardly present, but still retained its youthful quality. Stubble marked his face, almost forming a perfect five o' clock shadow."

It might not be a very good example, sorry about that. Other than what I pointed out, you're doing a fine job so far.

Chapter 1: Cake and Surprises

Feed the ghost? But how would it-- Oh, right... It's a battle sprite. But then... How does it eat? Hearthstone pondered, while playing with Hexodus on her phone. It had the somewhat Talking-Tom feature, but for Battle Sprites, and a few tabs on the side were status and options. Hearthstone already reached the Bazaar Area unknowingly, and she passed through the local bakery. Well, I might try cake.

Hearthstone reached the bakery, and sounded the bell. It came with a -ding! and rising behind the counter was a girl a year older than Hearthstone. She was wearing a brown apron, her hair tied back by a hairnet, and her amethyst eyes shone against the sunlight. Her apron had a tag bearing the name F E L I C I T Y.

"How may I help you, ma'am?" Felicity greeted.
"Um... I'll have three slices of your chocolate cakes, please." Hearthstone replied. She smiled at the clerk, and glanced at her phone. Hexodus had a meter beside him and beside the meter was "Hunger". It was simply at midpoint.

Meanwhile, Felicity had already picked out the cake slices and put them inside a container. She reached out to Hearthstone, who gladly put out 2400-crown bill on the counter. She waved at Felicity, and went on her way.

"Wah!" Hearthstone yelled, as Hexodus changed the molecular composition of one slice of cake into data. Then it ate it, surrounding it with an orange aura.
"Shushushushushu--" Hexodus giggled.
"That... kind of surprised me..." Hearthstone commented as Hexodus twirled around Hearthstone. Hearthstone took a bite of cake, which was a slice topped with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. "Mmmmmm..."

That afternoon, Hearthstone and Hexodus only played, until dusk came.

He was also given a Maskeraith, so he could escape when there was serious trouble. He now lives with his 'parents', going to the same school that Hearthstone is going to: 'Spiral Academy.' :P

Chapter 2: Gremlins' Chase

"MANTA, DO YOU HAVE THAT LOCK OPENED YET?!" Hearthstone yelled, strafing away from Gremlins, furiously Alchemer-Switching. Hey Cryotech Alchemer bullets froze the Gremlins following her, allowing for Hexodus to release its Caustic Quills.
"Just... give me another minute!" Manta replied, whacking at the lock of the door with her Wrench Wand.

Hearthstone ran around the Deconstruction Zone, continuing on barraging the Gremlins with bullets. We had just met... And yet it feels like we've known each other for a long time...

True, they had just met earlier. Hearthstone, unable to feed her sprite, was given advice by Biscotti to take Hexodus on a Clockworks run. At DUSK. Hearthstone followed, and landed on a Deconstruction Zone, meeting Manta, who was working on the lock.

"Still on it?!" Hearthstone yelled from a distance.
"Almost!" Manta yelled back. Seriously, this Wrench was for fixing things, not breaking them... And my Rocket Hammer is still inactive.
"Um... They're gaining on me! And I don't have a Shadow Weapon or anything!" Hearthstone cried, trying to dash out of a skirmish.
"You can do it!" Manta laughed.
"Waaaaaaaaah! Hex!" Hearthstone cried, and Hex shot out a few more quills at the Gremlins. The Gremlins were splintered with quills, to which they stopped and attended to for a while. Hearthstone gained a headstart, and absent-mindedly used it on a break. "Whew!~"

The Gremlins finished unexpectedly, and began chase. Hearthstone jumped out of place and ran once more. "Mantaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She came running at Manta, who just finished. The gate went down, and Manta ducked. Hearthstone fell at the wall, groaning. "Uhhhhhnn..."

Manta giggled, and watched the Gremlins behind her. They were getting confused, some laughing at Hearthstone.

"Hehe..." Manta glanced at Hearthstone, and threw a Deconstructor at the Gremlins.

Basically, my main purpose for this is comedy and action. Buuuuuuuuuuut... ;)
