I am not a new recruit since a long time, but I'm fairly new to the curse status being spammed, so.
I know that lumbers are immune to the quills, are they immune to curse too? I tried curse damage on a lumber in mission RJP first depth and nothing happened. I tried to poison it but still nothing. is my experiment true or I missed the damage numbers and the bar?
Cursing lumbers works?
What Thunder is saying is that Curse gets inflicted on them, but it doesn't have an effect; they don't take damage when they attack while cursed.
precisely. it's (kinda) common knowlege that lumbers don't take damage from quills. they do take addidtional damage from poison, but they don't seem to get any from curse.
Lumbers will have the curse sign above them but they don't suffer damage from curse.
I thought it was possible on any monster? Or did you not let it attack?
Is it intended? Why? We need a comment about this 'feature' that's been lurking since the game got released.
I really hope this isn't a bug that could be easily fixed but they are too lazy to look at.
Well we can just curse lumbers by just cursing them in the chat
@Red-Galaxy:
Yes but the question is whether or not that actually helps...
Hey Zeddy, I think I got another test for you
In my opin, constructs in their entirety should have curse-resist, but that would be a little too nerfed for the Faust, so they made it only lumber, undead, and darker dead exclusive.
All fiends, except Greavers/Silkwings. not sure about those fat flying things though, and it seems Howlitzers can be cursed too, not sure if they receive any damage
Stop necroing.
And every fiend can be cursed and will take dmg apart from trojans (although yesmans won't take dmg since they don't have any active abilities).
Howlitzers take dmg from curse.
I don't think lumbers are immune to quills, poison, or curse. I've inflicted them with all three on numerous occasions.
