I've read other posts and it seems like many people are having this issue. After the Halloween/Apocrea update, the game started but the graphics were all screwy. I went to go to a level and it froze on the loading screen at 99%. It came back to this screen after a restart of the game, and then again after a restart of my computer. Here's what I haven't seen other people doing: I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Now when I try to open the game, the frame of the window appears for half a second and disappears. I'm running off the PC client, but the same thing happens off of Google Chrome.

Because you're going to ask, even though it doesn't make a difference, here are my specs:
Dell Inspiron (laptop)
Windows Vista 32-bit
AMD Athlon 64 dual-core TK-57 processor 1.9 GHz
2 GB of RAM );

I would really appreciate some help on this, and don't just tell me to make sure my drivers are up to date or to uninstall and reinstall the game "correctly."

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE UPDATE THAT CAUSES THIS!!! DON'T DENY IT!!!
