I'm guilty of this. I love most of the music in Spiral knights (mainly because I grew up during the SNES Era, and it reminds me of those days), but there are a few songs I don't particularly care for, the major one being the default boss music.

So I swapped it out for this.

What do you guys think? I think it sounds awesome when fighting Seerus or Vanaduke, but you might not agree.

Why not the sound track from Metal Gear Rising? It is like, the best sound track(S) ever produced for a game. I swear, if I get those songs were pumped into my year during a vana run, I would have killed vana in one hit and get 500+ token.

I don't replace the music files, but I usually have the in game music off and play something separately.

Sitenno and Goldport themes are awesome too!!!

I often listen to CYTOKINE while I play.
Actually... apart from Hatsune and co., I don't really listen to anything else. At all. Well, recently I've been listening to Takanashi Yasuharu, but I'm sure that's just a phase, just like Kajiuri Yuki and Toshiro Masuda

Trance and Dance really get me in a pumped up mood for fighting.

The Metroid Prime (1,2,3) soundtrack always makes it into my games, if it is a simple switch. It's the series I got most into instead of the Legend of Zelda - which most of the people I know like the most.
Phendrana Drifts is the best music for any ice/cold themed area ever.

I occasionally swap out my computer boot sounds to be this.

I had no problem with the permafrost that corrupted the arcade since it meant more of this music.

Class over. Some of the

Class over. Some of the stuff I still have links to below.

Main Theme - Megaman Zero 2: Power Bomb
"Somber" - Final Fantasy VII - Judgment Day Remastered
Undead - Brave Fencer Musashi - Corona Jumper
Beast - Megaman ZX OST - Green Grass Gradation (Area A)
Fiend - Megaman X4 - Sky Lagoon (X Version) (Justifiable considering most fiend levels are still cities.)
Construct - Megaman X: Corrupted - Power Plant
Haven - 3D Dot Game Heroes - Go to the Wilderness HD (I originally got it from the Distorted Travesty OST, but later found out the actual origins so this one's actually higher quality than the one I have)
Battle - Street Fighter 4: Volcanic Rim
Candlestick Keep - Chrono Trigger - The Black Wind Howls
Fire-themed Levels - GaMetal - Koopa's Road (easy to substitute for any of the Koopa's Road iterations from the Mario series if you like different styles)
Ice - Sonic 3: Ice Cap Zone Act 1 Remastered
Poison - Sonic Generations - Chemical Plant (Classic)
Treasure Vault - Slam Canyon (Quad City DJs vs HAL)

Question.

I know this is a dumb question, but from the looks of it, does this mean you are allowed to modify your game in a way so that it isn't giving you a advantage or cheating? This seems to apply for music (Unless OOO comes in and confirms it isn't allowed.) but I am wondering if you are allowed to modify your HUD/UI, such as in World Of Warcraft to make keeping track of stuff easier.

Reason is mostly, I sometimes forget my Battle Sprite is off cooldown, which results in me missing the moments to use it. What I would like to do is move the ability buttons to near the middle of the screen, this way I don't have to constantly look down sometimes to check if it's off cooldown.

No-Thanks
not a dumb question

support mail with specific question to ask for permission
always use support mail, never ask in forums, because obviously not a single person in the forums is in the position to clarify these matters, while staff members do the exact opposite(confusing people even further lol)

when i wanted to upload sk videos, i also asked for permission and they allowed it and even allowed me to monetize their content, altho i didnt even ask for it

i sort of doubt, that theyll greenlight HUD/UI modification, but im not in the position to decide that
what i know is that they "judge on case by case basis", which means, that they wont give a definite answer to allow anything in a broad range
and that means, that thers always a chance of doing something wrong, but also, that you can ask specifically if something is allowed

dont use forums to do that tho, or have you ever seen a good amount of clarification coming from that?
