Going beyond 10 levels with Mist Energy?

So, you get 100 energy at max "free" a day, and it costs 10 points to go down a level, but the maximum depth is much deeper than the 10 levels that would allow... so how do you go lower than 10?

Is it something to do with tiers, and using 100 energy from multiple days to gradually go deeper? something else? or is it actually a way to force you to buy crystal energy?

You can earn crown and buy ec

You can earn crown and buy ec to cover for the extra distance that mist fails to cover.

Or spare a few pocket change is good too.

So there's no other way but

So there's no other way but using crystals (via trade, or direct purchase) to increase your available energy so you can pay for all the levels in one trip?

Mist charge with pass of time

Mist charge with pass of time only, there's currently no other way to charge it or increase the maximum.

Energy crystal is the one that can be brought through player market or cash purchase.

This is a business after all, you'll hit some sort wall sooner or later.... at least you still have the option to convert in-game currency to ec.

ed: you can get ec at any time, even in dungeons. As soon as you payment/trade clears it'll be added to you account.

Yea, they need something to

Yea, they need something to get people paying in real money, but I wasn't sure if this particular issue was as rigid as it first appeared, or whether it was more flexible (since I'm pretty new, I'm not always sure just yet whether I've just missed a clue, or whether how I think it appears to be, is how it actually works).

Uhhhhh

100 myst is enough to go from Emberlight to The Core.
You can play the 30 levels of a gate, you just have to do tier 1 one day, tier 2 another one, and tier 3 another one.

The Tier Passes allow you to

The Tier Passes allow you to start off at one of the two subtowns at any gate you've already adventured down to said subtown in. If you have the Tier Two pass for Gate A and have made it to Moorcroft Manor you can now start from the Manor. The distance between each subtown should be playable with 100 energy so long as you don't rely on energy revives.

@Defunc7: just to clarify

@Defunc7: just to clarify (superfluously, since Pupu and d0gr0ck already pointed it out): this game is playable entirely for free, all content without exception. I haven't spent one $ on this game and I currently have more 5* equipment than I can wield, playing all the way to the Core (when the levels permit it, Firestorm is a tart!).

When you reach a certain town (Moorcroft Manor, Emberlight) in a certain gate, you'll be granted access to that town when you start from Haven from that moment on, for as long as that gate exists (granted you have the required amount of Tier tokens, which I suppose you do by now). So just log in the next day when your Mist Energy is back to ~100, go to the gate and select to start from Moorcroft (depth ~9) or Emberlight (depth ~18).

In other words, you could reach the Core entirely on Mist Energy - in 3 days time. The only thing you really do need Crystal Energy for is crafting the gear required for the Tier 3 pass. But still this doesn't necessarily require your cash, there's a CE - crowns exchange. :)

Be aware that for only 75

Be aware that for only 75 cents, you can get enough energy to trade on the exchange, and make much more.

I've got 3K CE in pocket, plus a bunch on the exchange, and that's from 75 cents plus lots of trades. I've made more from trading than from going into dungeons.

(In fairness, my machine is right at the bottom of the system requirements, and cannot handle a lot of levels that other people have no problem with.)
