So, when I went to join a friend to do the new event, I had to use the update client to get in. Then this ugly message shows up.

I've tried looking in the technical issues FAQ on the wiki ( http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Technical_issues_FAQ ) for some kind of answer but I just can't seem to get the answer I'm looking for.
