I think that it is odd that the forums and site don't have custom avatars... I think that this would really add to the forum experience. Instead of just all text, there would be picture avatars along the side to spice it up a bit. Just to clarify, I don't mean in-game avatars. I mean pictures from your own computer or ones from URLs. I feel that it would allow users to express themselves more in the forums.

If you think that would end up with people using some obscene images for the avatar, then I think that there is one more solution. Why not just have a picture of the in-game avatar show up? That would keep obscene stuff out and still allow for there to be a little more flavor in the forums.

(Sorry if picture avatars are already available... I looked for quite a bit and couldn't find them, and I haven't seen any in the forum yet.)
