I've seen the Lancer Knightz data page about mission pay out, but in terms of time spent grinding, would it be more profitable to speed run gloaming wildwoods, killing everything, or KoA, killing everything.

Or maybe RJP?

Or even not killing everything and simply going for the boxes?

Basically, in your experience, whats the quickest way to grind for crowns

Depends on what you're best at

My experience is this:

Quickest way to get ~18.5k is 5 runs of RJP taking ~60 minutes (or ~48 with a good party)
Quickest way to get ~35kcr is 3 runs of OCH taking ~105 minutes (or ~90 with a good party)
Quickest way to get 100kcr+ is 10 runs of FSC taking ~300 minutes (or ~225 with a good party

If there's an easy accessible arena in clockworks then that has potential to be best earner, but that's rare because usually you end up wasting time running through bad floors and waiting for elevators to change.

Should be noted that the OCH

Should be noted that the OCH one is also using 3 Eternal orbs and 5k to make that 35k, as you have to craft and merch the mask.

Once you reach a certain point

Once you reach a certain point you play to have fun and the crowns just come naturally.

I find that if you just sit back and enjoy the game without fussing about money you will stop for a moment and realize that you have what you need.

Wisdomz. Why u no listen to eet.

@Holy-Nightmare.
All my this. I gave up on trying to be rich a long time ago. Forcing yourself to run FSC/JK/whatevermissiongoeshere repeatedly only makes you dislike it and not enjoy yourself*. If you do a level you enjoy (I personally enjoy running arcade clockworks...without too many darn compounds! >.<) but get less payout for your time, it's still worth doing. Besides, what's playing a game if you don't enjoy doing it?

* - excluding you freaky people that are perfectly happy to spam FSC twice every day for 4 months.

Thank you

I found out this approach when playing games like the Pokémon series and TF2. I use what I like and I have fun with it, I'm not going to be the guy who sells out his Shuckle or his Medigun just to try to top the leaderboards. I use what I like and I find ways to win (Yes I enjoy sweeping triple battles with Shuckle, and yes I do enjoy Ubercharging and healing someone who can get the job done) I'm not going to sell out and become the person obsessed with Kill death ratios or about pokemon tiers.

I am a Gamer.
And I came to play.

I weirdly enjoy grinding

I have no issues with grinding the same level for hours on end I find it fun.
In pokemon i remember EV training for hours on end, which basically consisted of mashing the a button and slaughtering hundreds of level 3 pokemon for ages to acquire stat gains, and I liked it.

I mean I've been playing this game for just over three years, to me the arcade isn't even more fun or anything new anymore, It's just the same as any other mission.

So that said, I basically want to grind for crowns and I don't care how I do it.

The exception is for fsc, for some reason I just have this deep aversion to it.

Ouch...

Let's not have another thread go down that path, Dahall.

For me, I play what I want, when I feel like it. I don't avoid firestorm citadel, but I don't only play in it. I'll frequent the arcade more because I'm often multitasking when I play Spiral Knights and the arcade requires me to think less, and I'm usually playing solo during these times anyways, and I get super lonely doing boss runs alone. (Other than Operation: Crimson Hammer, for whatever reason)

I love seeing my numbers grow, and being the tightwad that I am, I hate spending it. But in the end, all those are are numbers that don't really do anything. But I've had fun making the numbers as high as they are, so I think the game's doing a good job with making me feel good. :)

We have something in common.

I always end up buying sparks

I always end up buying sparks (as I often revive people who die in arenas if i feel like they earned it), orbs for alching new items, and recipes.

At the moment I am hoarding CE to get the expansion mission as i feel like I have reached a point in the game where what I want is event related and what I have is enough to get me through any level (seriously when I can beat out three trojans with just my valiance I feel like I don't need many new weapons)

FYI I am a poor knight
