Mac & Steam buying energy help?

I play on a mac through steam. For those who know what steam wallet is, i recently put $10 in to buy the new valkyrie pack. This is my first time purchasing in game on Spiral knights, and when I went to make I went to buy the pack it said authorizing via steam. When I went to check it said I had in in-game allowed from the steam settings. But my computer put up a pop up about something in my system preferences? Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

SK runs slow

When Spiral Knights first game out, I was able to run it perfectly
When the Steam variant came out, it ran at half the framerate, while the standard version was fine

I just tried launching it a little while ago, but I can't even log in as the game is only updating at around one frame every ten seconds, taking several minutes to input password and attempt log in. From there when I select a character, it slowly, slowly tries to move to a loading screen while getting nowhere.

SK wont open

i open the game from the website and when it loads the game pops up. Seems normal. Until it closes by itself. anyone else experiencing this?

Chatting issues

First time posting on this thread kind of hoping to avoid ever posting in this. Having bad issues with chat that i heard that others were having. Seem like after a few tells it stops working and eventually crashes my game. This issue came up during the last patch and its making the game unplayable. I re-downloaded the client but issue still hasn't been fixed and also email my issue as well.

Steam closes every time I open SK

Every time i try to open and play Spiral Knights on Steam, it just closes no matter how many times I open SK. This problem just started today and I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Does this have anything to do with any new updates on Steam or SK recently?

15-3 patch killed my account

For some reason, even after going though all the shenanigans that is getting my account information back, I don't exist in the game world any longer. It keeps telling me that I'm not a registered user when I have put over 24 hours into the game. No matter what I do, I just cant login. It keeps telling me that no such user exists. and even when I use the really long name that the reset email sends me, it never loads up.
If this can be attended to, or if a solution can be given for me to preform, I would greatly appreciate it.

can someone help me every time i try to change the resolution the screen goes black. i can click things when the cursor changes but no picture just black. please help

Problem authenticating

"We experienced a problem authenticating with Steam. Please ensure that the steam client is running and that you are not logged in elsewhere."

I haven't been able to log in for 20 minutes straight now. Normally it only has this problem when the servers are down for updates. I checked steam and I am connected properly.

Graphics issue

Under 'Advanced Video Options' I have 'Enable Vertical Sync' checked, and 'Compatibility Mode' and 'Render Effects' unchecked what do all of those do?

I tried to change 'Anti-aliasing Level' from the default 4x to 16x but it says to restart the game and when I do and go back in it is back to 4x. I can not get it to 16x no matter what I do.

Oh and if it matters computer specs -

-Intel i7 950 Oc'ed to 3.5Ghz
-6GB Triple Channel Ram
-2x 500GB HD in RAID 0 Array
-Geforce GTX 560ti Superclocked Edition - Main Card
-Geforce GTX 260 - Dedicated PhysX Card
-Win Vista 64-bit
