I haven't played Spiral Knights for a week. So when I tried to lauch up Spiral Knights on Steam, it opens. But before I can do anything, it suddenly crashes. Its done this 3 times, all at the same time! I can't even click on anything before it crashes down!

Why is this happening!? Can someone please help me!

My Computer meets the requirements to play, as i have been able to play it for 3 years now (and hopefully counting)

There's another thread already but it appears that opting out of the Steam beta program fixes this completely. First shot it opened just fine. THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS, FRIENDS. And now to go report this on Steam.

OKAY I see there's a couple other threads with similar issues, but I am making this thread because I am not certain they are the same issues... and disabling the Steam overlay does not help, so, still at a loss.

Basically, here's what's going on:

I play spiral knights via steam,and now when i try to launch it says i go into the game for about 5 seconds,nothing and i mean nothing pops up, no spiral knights is launching or the start up menu,nothing. I've tried looking for help like first deleting the files from my steamapps folder then uninstalling from steam and reinstalling, nothing worked, i was also told disabling the steam overlay in game would help, nope.Can anyone please help me?

I'll make it short and sweet. The game is unplayable right now. It lags horribly. I can run the game on max settings but currently i cant even run it on low without constant lag. Is there something wrong with the servers? Any answers will be appreciated.

Ok so when I'm logged onto SK and go to Haven, LD, or any mission, my wifi-bars at the top right of the screen go from 1-4 up and down really fast and I get extremely laggy. Anyone know what that is?

the last thing i know was i left my room leaving the game on,came back with the game somehow closed,i reopened it then it happens

I did update my thread in the Coliseum with this vid, but decided to also post it in the General Discussion just for those that don't play Lockdown so often. Lord knows we need all the frames we can get in the land of Java!

seems my game is closing randomely, when i deactivate steam overlay it works fine.
I've update my graphics card, java, and let javaw.exe and java.exe through the firewall and still doesnt work with steam overlay activated, any thoughts ?

i tryed reinstaling the game ,tryed removing game files ,tryed restarting my comp. and it still wont let me update it
the problem is " we were unable to download the necessary files after five attemps. you can try running the aplication again, but if it fails you may need to uninstall and reinstall" what can i do ? cuze i can't solve it myself please help me .

Not sure where this would go so why not just throw it in general... since there's no "technical support" for the forums... Why am I getting error 408 every other time i click anything related to spiral knights? Aka wiki or forum.
