Hello there,

I'm having severe lag since the april update.
The game freezes and I end up stuck against a wall in the direction I was running.
Basic things like opening the menu take ages, and loading was noticeably slower.
It happens on both servers, mission lobbies, etc etc.

Is it just the server being taxed due to more players because of the event?

Currently running:
-OSX 10.8.5, with the Java 6 needed for SK on mac.
-2.5 Ghz intel core i5
-4 GB ram.

Never had issues running SK before, and events haven't caused me to lag like this either.

I was playng ok, then after the update I relaunched the game I tried to go to haven but instead of loading fast, It was like 1%.....2% (with several secods of difference) It keep on and on until it reaches 40% where It gets slower.

I really need your help guys.

Edit: I did a test, It took It 5 minutes to move from 47% to 49%, spiral knights lel

So when i open spiral knights via steam or my non steam one it opens then automatically closes No error pops up idk what is happening but it is getting rather annoying =\

Edit: I have been able to play before on the same laptop

My main PC is restarting randomyl so I can't use that for SK, I got this old PC here I bought years ago, Now the issue is that when I run SK, I hear the login screen music but it shows nothing to me, The cursor changes to that of SK's but I can only see my desktop or a black screen, I can alt tab out of it freely.

Specs of the PC:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.80GHZ
2GB Ram
256MB Intel G31/G33 Express Chipset
Windows 7 64 bits (Originally the PC had 4GB but one stick died, I'd reformat it to 32 bits but the DVD driver isn't working.)
Plenty of HD space (100GB)

My laptop fulfills all of the requirements needed to play this game. However, the game runs extremely slowly. Sometimes the client randomly closes when I'm trying to load new screens. For example, this morning when I clicked on my knight to log on, the client closed. When this happens I have to reopen it and relogin; my knight is always where I left it. It also closes when I load some missions or when I try to enter different Haven areas. I always have to reopen it and relogin, and then go through the loading screen process again.

I've had my SK account for a while, so when I decided to go back into it, the body of my character except for my head didn't load, and when I tried to log in, the screen went black. I pushed "Go to Haven" and it was still black.

I've got a fair internet connection, and I'll be going through a mission without any significant amount of lag spikes or anything. However, the game will occasionally freeze up for a second, and then enemies will stop reacting and go through walls, players will stop moving, and chat becomes disabled. Nothing works, and so I surmise that the game has absolutely no connection to the game server. When I restart SK, I'll almost always find myself dead in the corner, including my emergency revive.

is just me or SK has a problem or the steam why i can't play? it keeps disconnecting, my internet connection was fine, but i can't play last night until now

I have been Spiral Knights for a couple of weeks and have had a series of reproducible errors.

My Java Client Crashes to several in-game events:

*Clicking on the Auction House Traders
*Clicking on Guild Roster
*Clicking on mysterious blue alchemy machine in Arcade Zone (Haven)
*Talking to the Kat Hat Costume Trader in Haven (Not the on in the Arcade Depths)
*Clicking on Energy Trader
*Purchasing anything with Energy in the Shop Page

Minor Issues:

*Depth 28 Lags (1-2 bars at best)

it's been four month since i played SK ,now when im trying to play again it just stayed at 0% and says "multiple intances of this application's installer are running. this one will stop and let another complete" ,it just make me so frustrased about this ,please please please PLEASE! HELP ME!! :'''''((
