Changing flooring in Guild Hall

Just a note of caution. Be careful when changing the flooring in a GH. The Alchemy Room we discovered comes with its own flooring and can't be changed. If you do the Alchemy Room is removed and the new flooring put in its place. We had to get a Guild Master to reinstate our Alchemy Room as we didn't realise that the changing the flooring would remove it. The mistake cost us 14k for the change of flooring but we were just very pleased to have the Alchemy Room back.

Anyone else getting etremely low FPS lately?

Lately after the new updates the game has been like a stop motion animation with 10-15 FPS, on most if not all missions.
I tried to earn my second Hammer today and it was just... horrible, gremlins teleporting everywhere, boolets hitting me when being 10 meters away from me (Well ok, that's usual but it happened more offten this time) my character moving in odd patterns, none of these things are something new, but lately they have been more and more common appearing a lot more offten and making the game more unplayable that usual.
Is this just for me, or has everyone been getting it?

Cant login through new steam client

I cant login through new steam client and i have to use a PREINSTALLED steam client.
When i try to install a new steam client and installing the spiral knights game through steam i cant connect to my account
How can i login with the new steam client to my SK account?

Severe lag issue since last update.

I came back from a mini vacation on the 13th of January and logged on. There was an update patch. After getting that, I find that I can no longer play the game. I get severe lag issues. My screen shows my character running around, but it jumps location and will get hit when nothing is near it. The sprite's location is - at times - nowhere near me. I have asked others if they are experiencing lag, and no one else seems to be. I haven't been able to pinpoint anything else that changed. Went through the uninstall re-install of the game with no change.

Cannot run the Kongregate Client

I'm not sure if this is an issue with both site clients; or even on some other platform like, Armor Games I think? But basically I got this message:

SecurityException

Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar:
http://download.threerings.net/spiral/client/getdown-pro.jar

This happened after I updated my Java to 7 update 51, where I accidentally clicked something about the security prompts.

I'm not sure if this just affects Kongregate or both the Site client as well. As for this account I usually play with the downloaded client so I have no issues.

After having stopped playing Spiral Knights since the release until like a year ago, I didn't have a knowledge base on how the technical stuff works, outside the game that is. After creating a new account on my other, non-official steam account, I soon figured out that a computer is only allowed a single FREE ACCOUNT.

I just started SK, and went to the badges section of my steam profile. It says no card drops remaining for SK, and they were just released.

Help with setting Controller

For one i hope this is the right place and thanks for any and all help. I have an Xbox 360 controller that i bought from GameStop and it works perfectly fine. but when i try in to Spiral Knights it wont work. i restarted the client, restarted my computer, and restarted steam several times. I know the controller works because it worked for other games on steam. Anyone mind helping?

Missing/Black words

When starting the game ALL text is either missing or covered by large black shapes that completely eliminate vision of text. The only thing that is normal is the Three Rings and Sega logo. I have tried to uninstall and re-install three times already and I have checked and unchecked vertical sync as well as the compatibility mode with no results. Please tell me what I can do to fix this.

Crash after joining a party

I can play the game fine, no login issues or anything. However when someone invited me to a party or if I join a party in progress, the game freezes in seconds and I have to ctrl+alt+del out of it. One thing I've noticed is the Steam client also crashed and I have to run it again.

My specs:

Windows 7 64bit SP1
i7-3630QM
8GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 675MX
