Hi ooo, posted a suggestion not long ago (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/100245)

I was hoping that if you took my previous suggestion. could you also please make the silver key and promo lockboxes to be steam marketable.
in short if you didnt read my previous post: you can make the silver key a demanded tool by implementing future promo boxes to need keys to unlock. instead of purchasing, promo lockboxes are gathered via the prize wheel and pvp bribes.

it is quite common for the community to trade ce for steam games/items. the average price of a treasure key (tf2, dota2, CS:go) is about 1400ce
most people buy the keys to trade on the steam market to add funds to their steam wallet.
fees are also added to the products.
example:
10% to Team Fortress 2
5% to Steam

ive bought alot of tf2 keys from players to trade into the market and many others have done so. it is a method of transferring funds legally.
also fees are deducted twice. person A buys key (10% fee to game), person B buys the key with CE and relists on the market and sold (10% fee to game again) even though its just '10%' wouldnt it be great if the money went to you instead of another game? :p

players who want steam wallet money can basically buy silver keys in game with ce from players and then trade them on the steam market for funds or use it to open a box. the silver keys should no longer be in the depot and be sold via for $2.50 alone or with energy purchases. (basically similair to the tf2 and dota2 system)

im too tired to write more and im not sure if you will read this but you can send me a mail in game if you're interested in hearing it in further details

It would indubitably be a wise decision to set them as marketable and allow for this to happen, though I'm not certain of how viable it is or whether they can just order things around like such. But they probably can and that isn't primarily our concern.
