These two weapons need a buff.
First, the Furious Fork and it's functionality:
The concept is great. The piercing sword mechanic is great, the charge is fun but not necessary to spam to get the most out of the weapon, and the chance to light something on fire with a regular swing is awesome.
The chance to light something on fire seems to come down to something absurdly low like 1 or 2 times out of 100 hits on an enemy. And the fire caused by this barely deals any damage. These two facts lower the potential of this weapon from a useable weapon that is competitive with non-status types of the sword and a good option to run to merely a lackluster weapon with a rare gimmick. It might as well produce a pretty particle effect on the player every 100 swings instead of lighting an enemy on fire: this would be equally as useful.
The sword needs either (or potentially both, if balance allows) a buff to the chance to cause status effect or a buff to the strength of the status effect. The chance to cause the status effect would be an excellent choice. Consider fang of vog's chance and fire damage per hit.
Secondly, the Deadly Charcoaler's non-damaging Duds!
Excellent concept to a weapon, but not particularly powerful. And I keep running into issues with the bombs exploding but not actually dealing damage to enemies that are being hit, and hearing the invincibility "tink" noise that I've come to associate with the defensive status shield pickup usables. The invincibility tinks are a complete necessity on the orbiting balls of damage: they would be too powerful without it. The invincibility tinks on this bomb render any potential the weapon has into nothing. I would suggest more radius to the bomblets and faster explosion time as well, but this is up to the balance team.
Both weapons are reskins of existing weapons. Buffing those weapons will, in turn, make the ones we obtained in these prize boxes useful.
The grill is a reskin of this, while the fork is a reskin of this.
It's rather common thought to want status flourish's to have a more common status, and that shard bombs need to get rid of invincitinks.
