Chaos and Divine are polar opposites of each other. It's not a bad set, but it's not exactly as good as going full Divine or full Chaos, it's just kinda in the middle. You'll get:
- VH DMG vs. Fiends.
- Medium DMG.
- Medium CTR.
- Some normal, shadow, and elemental defense.
- Low shock, fire, and curse resist.
- Medium poison and freeze weakness.
It'll get the job done, but you you'll probably do better with either going full Divine or full Chaos, or mix either of the two with something else like Skolver, Snarbolax, ect. Grey Owlite is always good, as long as it's relevant to where you're bringing it along.
Thank you for the input. The reason for combining the two was to not have negative status resists, while also obtaining a few boosts. Grey owlite covers resists pretty well in my opinion...
Wouldn't it be cool if we could combine gear to make more powerful ones say in a run akin to a SL. Thus say allowing one to combine Divine/Chaos to get all the stats/Bonuses of the two put together. Could make an interesting mechanic. (Armor only mechanic)
If you want damage, get Chaos.
If you want defense, get Grey Feather.
If you want the free halo, get Divine.
...
Yeah...
So dread skelly/ Grey feather tou got free glow eyes :3
what you need is a BKC and a Chaos cloak, top it off with ele UV's on the BKC and Shad UV's ont he Chaos, and you have a pretty solid line up on the armor, as far as sheilds go, in never do vana with out my CoA. mainly because i can sit in Slag breath for and eternity(not saying you should, just that you can) with out any wear on sheild health. that and it can take a few(3-4) direct consecutve hits from trojans and a single solid hit from vana(even in elite)
Is a gut of steel, some proto armor, and a combuster.
nothing can go wrong.
That's purely situational. It's a good overall set but not that good when you're facing things that aren't fiends and don't inflict fire or shock. Heck, I wouldn't bring that to fiends inflicting poison or freeze because those things will hit and it will hurt.
