Hmm, just one thing, if Herex once belonged to Crimson order, then why did he write 'nine are blind' in the recon module? It should clearly be 'eight are blind instead', or was he replaced by someone else that we don't know? Or is the nine members of the crimson order something else completely.
And now, what is the iron law? And who broke it? Serrus? Tinkinzar, or someone we have yet to seen.
ps. I am rather dissapointed with how Herex looked... I always imagined him as a educated looking, glasses wearing scientist with an eccentric mad man beneath his white lab coat. but oh well, it is OOO afterall.
Herex has been hinted at a few times.
A scenario room shows a dead gremlin with a note that says:
The others must never know. Silence them -H
And after reading it, a ghostmane stalker appears.
I have nothing to say about this, other than the fact that it seems like Herex is behind this message.
Another is in the Compound 42 where the description reads.
Spiral HQ has uncovered a gremlin bioweapons facility deep within the Clockworks. It is believed that this facility belongs to a member of the Crimson Order known only as Herex. The Recon Rangers have been tasked with infiltrating the facility and uncovering the nature of Herex's bioweapons before they are put to use."
Some facts are shown here. He is a crimson order member like Razwog and Seerus. He also seems to be responsible for bioweapons testing. Poison seems prominent. As well as fire.
Yet again we have a hint in the OCH expansion mission. Where Warmaster Seerus asks you if Herex sent you to kill him.
I couldn't find the exact text, but it seems that the Crimson Order is full of rivalries. With members constantly trying to kill each other for power.
A new one is a recon model seemingly sent to Razwog from -H
Schemer Razwog: Work away from the others. The order must never know we have the artifact. Find a way to power it. Bring it to me. Do not betray me, I will know. -H
It also seems that some Crimson Order members have some sort of control over other members. Although this has not been confirmed. In the mission, Sentient Sentries, the newly introduced Sputterspark seems to be receiving orders from Seerus. Sputtersparkhas not been confirmed as a Crimson Order member but he fits the details the other members have.
Probably the most speculation filled one is at the end of Spark and Roar. A recon module says...
The Iron Law is Broken!
The Crimson Order is False!
The nine are blind, they cannot see the Truth that lies below.
The nine are deaf, they cannot hear the Resonance that beats below within this world.
Herex no longer serves as one of the nine.
Only Herex sees and hears the truth. Only Herex will prevail.
Follow Herex and you will be spared."
It now is apparent that Herex has left the order and is taking on something big. Probably something that has to do with the Artifact.
That's all I have to say, sorry if this is rude but people have been talking about it and the has his own page on the wiki. Some research may be required before speculation.befits
