Lockdown Balanced.

Heyo... Biggy Here...!!! I hardly ever do these. Soo I was thinking. People are complaining about how lockdown is not balanced... (I think) Anyways.. Why not make a Lockdown armory in the locker room area of the LD matches?
It should contain every armour/sword/bomb/gun/helm in the game @ lvl 1 Heat.
Only one member of a team can wear a specific armour at a time.
If this is not agreed on for LD... Make it a new game... and add in the fact that if you die with a set on... It cannot be used again for that match by any members of your team. If all armours have been used and lost by dying, the very last armour that the people themselves have on shall remain.

My two crowns. But OOO has other concerns sadly.
  • Remove the base defense Strikers have. Alternatively, pin a Medium (or even Low) Status weakness. For an offense-based class, Strikers are currently too tanky.
  • Let Guardians Shield Bash. This will give Guardians more options while still enforcing the role of the-one-who-bears-the-shield. Additionally, add a tool-tip to notify the player that this class gives you a boost to your Status resistances.
  • Remove the Attack Speed Decrease on Recon. I can't honestly think of anything better. Maybe lower the base defense?
  • For the love of Vog, a queue that disables UV's, Auto Target, and trinkets. For the hard-core players who want Competitive Lockdown to be anything but a joke.
  • Fix the fact that 4* weapons grow stronger in Stratum 6 so that 5* weapons aren't completely overshadowed by level 10 4* weapons. (This is necessary for more than just Lockdown, but I feel it's worth mentioning.)
  • An adjusted camera angle similar to Vanaduke's Mask phase, allowing for more fair visual in all directions. Even a toggle option for this would be nice.
  • Readjusted map design to emphasize capturing the points as well as punish spawn-camping. Alternatively, remove Avenue. Avenue is just awful.
  • Optimize particle effect spawning or whatever. Avenue, Frostbite, Mines(?) are too graphically intensive even on a fairly decent computer.
  • Footstep clouds. Remove them. Why? It opens the possibility for naughty players to modify the particle effects to be more conspicuous, allowing for easier Recon spotting and other toxic exploits. If this has to be abused for it to noticed enough to be removed, then so be it. (Recall 5* loadouts in lower tiers?)

    This probably won't help with balancing, but as a gunner I'd like to see the sword damage increase on striker be replaced by a gun one so that each weapon type gets one bonus on two classes and a penalty on the remaining class. This probably helps maintain the idea that strikers are hit-and-run swordsmen or burst damage gunners. I also suggest buffing the guardian bonuses to medium to maintain balance between the classes

    I agree with the above post that recon needs to move at normal speed while cloaked. No matter how good you are with mind games, a capable striker will catch you especially with the wide hit from a sealed sword or toothpick. Alternatively I suggest a reduced dash cool down for recons to give them a comparable defensive ability as other classes and give a more 'ninja' feel.

    I disagree with replacing the Striker's sword damage bonus with gun damage bonus. Guns already deal respectable amounts of damage while keeping the user at a safe distance. The trade-off is that a Striker gunslinger has more mobility, which is key to kiting. Mobility makes Gunners already powerful enough (and OOO intends to make them more powerful, because of the Gunner Update.)
