So I'm looking at the map like "Where are they all????" And I realize that they're on the elevator... or are they? I do not know!
Make the player-circles on the map overlap the icons for elevators, keys, etc.

Yes, get over here and quit asking. Typing things slows me down when I should just know where they are so that I can walk over there and get to them asap, which isn't so soon because I'm actually pretty slow at getting to buttons/elevators/whatnot.

Make keys change to the color
Make keys change to the color of the player holding it and add the elevator icon back to where the player icons are.

Or simply bring back that "Standing on elevator" icon that was in the old UI.

Though you're right, player icons should be at a layer above that of other less important albeit bigger icons.
