Yes, like a "Want to Buy" for "this much" post? Like, I'd put up a "request" for warp dust, and place, in crowns, how much I want to pay for it - and if someone feels like selling that to me for my posted crown amount, well then, they'd put that warp dust in the "request" slot and we both instantly get mail containing what we agreed with. I get warp dust, they get my crowns. Just restating OP in my own words, also, I like mentioning warp dust. It takes you places.

How to handle "fees"? Hmmm...I vote no fee! Awesome! One can *dream*. Would the exchange interface basically look like a trade window for one item? Neat.

I'd call this a "Trading Post" instead of having it be part of the "Auction House" - but could go either way. Just gonna call it Trading Post in my comment for now. A whole new structure in haven that could go next to the AH Or somewhere else! A new thingie for guild halls! Such potential!

Ah yeah, this would reveal what players really want. Much more so than /2. How might the "Trading Post" aspect compete with the Auction House market? Would be fascinating to watch.

I'd also like to trade E on the Trading Post to keep myself "even" - sometimes those danger room gate fees make my Energy look ugly. on the Trading Post, people could ask for 4 E, 17 E, whatever - it would be awesome. The Trading Post could have a whole section for just an "energy" type of trade. This is risky though, since the game likes to track the movement of Energy (since it represents real money) in accounts. Complicated coding, probably. But I desire it all the same!

I would limit the "willing to pay for request with" to x-amount of crowns - like you'll only ever get crowns from the Trading Post for fulfilling wishes. Keep things simple. Otherwise you'd have all these ultra-specific requests that are best done in PMs via contacts found in /2 trade channel.

I like this idea because I am lazy, and I really don't like dealing with people and haggling (most of the time - some days I love it!).

I'd love an easily accessible in-game log of all AH (and TP) actions (so far what we have are screenshots of the temporary bids/selling lists on individual accounts) - a HUGE amount of data, yes, but it could help with certain Merchants trying to oversell and underbuy with false statistics. We try in the forums, we try! Something like the Steam Market's sale price graphs would be nice. Again, have to keep one side of the exchange limited to crowns (which the AH does already).

@Carbonjinxmesa - AH needs to remain anonymous. The horrible amount of hatred/stress that thing can generate should not be directed at individuals. It would make the game horribly unfriendly. An individual can be free to claim/state what they are selling on there of course, and this happens frequently in the /2 trade channel. That, and in PMs, is where you discuss prices with buyers/sellers. The TP exchange could have the option to be anonymous or known, anonymous by default. This is because the TP is a direct exchange (basically, a trade window that stays open 24/7, and you certainly know who the trade window is with), vs. the Auction House - it's a competition.

Thoughts about scams...people, use your brains. Don't just click okay and expect things to work out. If you don't agree with a trade/TP/AH fully, then don't bid, don't offer, don't click okay (and don't just mail items! Jeeze!). I've had people say the Auction House scammed them...I'm like...seriously? They say "I just bid on it to see what it would sell for, and I won it by accident!" My response: what did you expect?! Only place a bid if you're willing to win it... Also, that's not a scam! Relax! *Continues to rant*
