The 30 day auto delete on mail could use some revamps. I was gone for a month and lost either a combuster or 300K cr because of that. I think it should only apply to announcements only, anything else such as player mail, or AH mail shouldn't be deleted.
+1 in general, and +1 to Fangel's method of deletion-but-still-getting-contents.
I've had guildies lose things like Twinkle Auras/crowns from the AH sales and so on because their family spontaneously went on a long vacation. Life happens. Things shouldn't just vanish. They don't in real life, let's apply physics to pixels (this is meant to be funny - it's very dry though. "Game logic").
I agree
I once lost a combuster with a bunch of varients or a whole lot of crowns as well when i put it up in the AH. Then i lost interest in Sk a bit then got back into it again and it must have gotten deleted!
So frustrating, Something must be done
I wish I lost twinkle auras to month long vacations. That sounds awesome.
It's not awesome, it's amazing! After coming back from vacation, you go and play SK and look at how much cr you have. You then realize, "Hey? Didn't I have more cr then that?" Afterwards, you realize you DID have more cr then that, but you spent it before you left by bidding on a twinkle aura. With the fact that you still have the same cr that you had before you left, you realize you must have won the auction, so you quickly check your mail but find nothing but the patch notes and an advertisement to switch your health insurance. This could only mean one thing; the mail was deleted. You then quit SK and turn off your computer slowly, and go sit in the North corner of whatever you are in and sit there for the rest of your life. You slowly go crazy and eventually suicide. If you are like me, you skip the suicide part and instead take up "helping" others "suicide."
Truly marvelous, isn't it?
Any perishable item that is in your mailbox will automatically be put into your knight's inventory, and players would get a pop-up message saying "Welcome back! You were gone for over 30 days, and so all items that were sitting in your mailbox have automatically been transferred to your arsenal."
Account-wide mails would transfer the item to the knight that was last logged in.
