Hello there fellow Knights!

I come to you today with a proposal: A crossover of the Spiral Knights and Mighty No. 9 Franchises.

If you don't already know about Mighty No. 9: to be almost vulgar its a reboot of the old Megaman Franchise. Why vulgar? Because of the new style, artwork, and dedication that places it far ahead of the Megaman Franchise. Yes, its still a platformer where you pew pew your way through the levels beating up bosses to gain their powers, but if you take a look you'll find its much more than that. Moving Along.

At its simplest this crossover would entail a costume helm and armor as dlc with a purchase of Mighty No. 9, at the extremes I could imagine a DLC similar to Crimson Hammer (Although to be honest I would actually be kinda sad to see that happen given how badly that DLC was received, the accessibility would need to be rethought. maybe a perma-card to access a Mighty No. 9 themed elevator?)
EDIT: So far support for Mighty monsters/levels in SK is against the idea, however a costume would be okay.

In the direction of Mighty No. 9 there could be a SK level where megaman battles his way through constructs to face off against Warmaster Seerus to gain a hammer wave power, or maybe a Tortodrone to gain a barrage of crippling crystals.
EDIT: Monsters/Bosses/Levels in Mighty No. 9 would need to stick to the robo lore of the Mighty Universe

Obviously I think this is a marvelous idea, but what do you think?
Leave your comments and thoughts below
EDIT: Thank you so far to those who have provided their thoughts

Notes:
I have created a post on the Mighty No. 9 Subreddit here
I would like to discuss the idea here and gain some attention for it first before moving it to suggestions

EDIT: Links have been fixed

Warmaster Seerus is a furry little gremlin and not a robot. It'll break the lore.

Yeah, you're probably right. So how about the Romulus twins? Or maybe a boss based on them?

Who is their publisher?

Three Rings is currently owned by SEGA. The Sonic promotions are because of that, and the TF2 promos happen across games anyways. Besides, the Spiral Knights promotion is more a Steam related thing rather than a TF2 related thing. Same company to work with, but generates revenue for all parties involved.

Now in order for this to go through, it would have to be in line with SEGA. At the same time, I don't believe that Spiral Knights should have any playable content that is outside of the Spiral Knights universe. Cosmetics are fine, but playable content should remain in the mind of Three Rings.

Okay to summarize: Nix the Mighty Monsters in SK because they would be out of place, but costumes would be okay. (correct me if I misunderstood ^_^;;;)

The publisher of Mighty No. 9 appears to be comcept a company headed by inafune and established back in 2010.

So that would put this as a joint project between sega and comcept with a visible presence on steam.

I would like to point out the Ignition Armor Set which was done as a release promo with Aeria Games
