New servers in the Australasia region, or better netcoding.
The lack of any servers outside of Europe or america hurts this game's potential, if you're from anywhere other than these two regions, be prepared for game breaking latency, the game is literally unplayable. It may as well be region locked.
Playing it for me was an exercise in frustration, you can't be sure that anything that you've done will play out correctly, 3 seconds after you do it, because of how long it takes for your client to ping the servers. Yes, I've spent time and money on this game. And unless you've experienced the latency issues first hand I doubt you would understand how bad this is of an issue.
New servers in the Australasia region would be helpful, Don't even tell me that people here wouldn't be interested. I can guarantee for a fact that people in Japan, Australia, the Philippines and not to mention china would be all over this.
The worst thing is, this is a problem that could also be easily solved through proper netcoding, if they implemented something like client interpolation, maybe even some client side checking, This would be solved, easily. Other games have this implemented, and those games don't even NEED servers other than in the US, because the netcoding is so efficient.
By this, I mean that if you dodge a missile on your screen you ACTUALLY dodge a missile in game. Your status is constantly fed to the server as packets.
This would also mean that people from distant countries could play on other servers with their friends from other countries without much of an issue.
Latency is always stay by your side. It will give you lame death in pve, make you waste an entire run and force you to start over again. Overall, it decreases your spirit (by giving you that bitter feeling of being cheated and unfairness) and also your farming speed, make reaching vanguard a real challenge (it is still a challenge to some people with good latency O.o ?) and blocking you from completing the best missions, danger missions, of this game. But the worst of them all, man, it makes you seem like a bad bad stupid player in lockdown, while you can wipe out the entire us players team (!!?) ... (that is, if you play pvp and have rage issue).
Anyone with that little 1 red bar knows your feeling. Every forum veteran knows what you mean, and seems like no one has spoken yet (maybe they are tired of reposts). But your suggestion has been suggested many times already. It will never come true (for sure), cause the devs dont have enough money to start a new server anywhere. Even if they do, they believe that the number of players in these regions will not make it a profitable option to start a new server. I just said these in case you dont know. But if you already knew, and way too desperated that you still have to ask for it, I still agree with this suggestion.
