I've been playing for 3 years, all the new things are nice and all, but there aren't really any new things that are making players feel at home while playing. I wish to help with that, with my suggestion for a new battle sprite: the Frozen Soul!
My plan for this suggestion is to upgrade the usefulness of the useless mineral moonstone, and basicly add a new battle style to the game.
The Frozen Soul looks like a lost soul with a deep blue tint, it's eyes correspond with the character's personal color. It has a 1/125 chance of dropping from Maulos on Advanced, 1/75 on Elite, and 1/250 on Normal. It favors Spacial pet foods, made from Moonstone.
Attacks: Ice Drop, Frost Barrier, Shatter
Ice Drop:
Ice Drop is the first attack that the Frozen Soul will have, it causes an ice shard to fall from the sky at the sprite's location that acts similarly to shard attacks from Tortodrones. The shard lasts 10 seconds.
Upgrades:
Focus (of course)
Frigid Frost
Ice Split
Frigid Frost increases the damage of Ice Drop, the 3rd point gives it a good chance of causing moderate freeze.
Ice Split makes the ice shard split into 2 smaller shards with the first point, 4 with the second and 6 with the third. This upgrade will cause the shard to split and disappear in 2.5 seconds.
Frost Barrier:
Frost Barrier is the second attack that the Frozen Soul will get, when used it creates a sort of haze around the player that will freeze enemies for 2 seconds and deal 10 damage while increasing defense for 4 seconds. The freeze does not affect bosses with the exception of Tier 1 bosses.
Upgrades:
Focus (of course)
Sheer Cold
Sleet Storm
Sheer Cold increases the duration of the Frost Barrier by 2 seconds, and the freeze caused by it by 1 second per point. the 3rd point upgrades the freeze from minor to strong.
Sleet Storm increases the damage of the Frost Barrier by 5 points and shortens the interval between hits by 1 second.
Shatter:
Shatter is the last attack the Frozen Soul will learn, it will create an icy explosion at the sprite's location, shooting ice shards in 8 directions. the shards move 2.5 tiles out.
Upgrades:
Focus (again, obviously)
Cold Snap
Slushy Shrapnel
Cold Snap increases the size and damage of the initial explosion by 33.3%. The 3rd upgrade makes the explosion cause strong freeze for 1 second and the shards cause minor for 5.
Slushy Shrapnel causes the shards to split in to 2 smaller shards after they reach their maximum distance, with the smaller shards initially dealing 65% of the original shard's and going out an additional 1.5 tiles. Further upgrades increase the damage of the smaller shards from 65% to 70%, then 75%. The 3rd adds another shard in addition to increasing the damage to 75%.
Ultimates:
Ice Drop:
Frostfire drop: Causes the shard/shrapnel to inflict a special frostfire ailment that creates a blue fire animation and doesn't remove freeze from enemies while dealing double the damage of the fire ailment. Fire enemies are not immune to this.
Ice Blast: Makes the shard cause a large explosion on contact with the ground, and will create smaller explosions when each of the shrapnel hit the ground. the explosions deal 3 times the shard/shrapnel's damage.
Frost Barrier:
Iceberg Barrier: Ice tentacles will come up from the ground and stab enemies in the barrier's radius similarly to the wire tentacles from the Iron Hulk.
Frigid Haze: The Frost Barrier will give anyone in range a slight chance of inflicting moderate freeze with any weapon and doubles the frost barrier's range. The freeze buff stacks with freeze weapons and increases the chance to freeze and changes the level of freeze to strong. Fire weapons get a frostfire buff that takes over the fire status and can affect fire enemies.
Shatter:
Snap Freeze: The shards and their shrapnel move 2.5 times as fast and deal double damage.
Lingering Frost: The main explosion leaves a circle of spikes and mist around the sprite that freeze and last for 5 seconds, and the shards/shrapnel explode on reaching their max distance.
maybe you should make some changes? but otherwise, this is a good sprite. keep up the good work! http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&u...
