How cool would it be to instead of having to equip a shield, being able to have 2 swords, 2 guns, or 2 bombs. Imagine fighting of hordes of monsters with a Glacius in one hand and a Combuster in the other. How about having a Divine Avenger and a Gran Faust.

Ok, so I'm not entirely sure how this would work, but here's what I'm thinking:

The regular shield key would be the button to attack with a second weapon. I don't think having the ability to carry two weapons would make shields obsolete, shield bumping and bashing are still important and probably most players would still use a shield and one weapon with another available to switch to. (How it is currently.) You could have the first weapon be able to switch out with your secondary how it is right now, but the weapon you are using instead of a shield would not be able to change.

I looked up dual wield on the forums and surprisingly I didn't find anything. Tell me what you guys think, and what suggestions you have to make this idea better. Just remember how awesome it would feel to hammer down on some jellies with a Triglav and a Sudaruska at the same time.
