Whilst I do like (love) the idea, how exactly would it work 0_0 It would look awfully strange - and I doubt it would work - having snipes falling around you. Not to mention that would be a tad grim.

A Snipe weapon? :O Like a gun, where you carry around a Snipe with you, and it lays eggs. It's charge attack shoots out a bunch of eggs that explode into mini-snipes that attack the nearest group of monsters.
Although it's too absurd to work I guess XD
I guess a gun that shoots feathers would be more appropriate.

Yeah I think there should be a few tiny snipes flying around the head to make the halo, just like you see when cartoon characters are dizzy and little birds start circling their head.
The aura could be snipes flying around you or maybe a single snipe could follow your trail? That would be completely different to most other auras. The snipe would be seen as more of a pet though rather than an aura but it's just an idea.
A new range of sniped stranger hats could be developed like you said, but how could they be different to the ones we already have?
