Dear Devs/SK Team,

I want to start by saying thank you. I'm an artist, and must say that this game has been an extremely refreshing experience (artistically speaking) thus far. I figured that for my suggestion this time around I get some things off my chest.

SK Team, keep up the hard work. There are people quitting, and complaining, but look around there's a big handful of players who have waited this long for you to release that update. Why? Because SK is appreciated, and we just want this to be as great a game as we think it is. So obviously (be it because of Nick, or the team) what you guys have thus far is cool, and we just want you to keep on going.

I have a few simple suggestions:

1. Update us on DEV info:

Tell us how things are going in a post, what's going on with the team, why has there been a hold up so far? Make a sticky in the Announcements where we get some contact with a dev once a week! Just like one paragraph of how things are going is all I think the community needs. Then the people who watch the forums can take maybe 5 important comments (constructive, and supportive) and send them over to the devs some time.

2. Let us vote on what we value most between A) Weapon Balance B) Radiant Drought or C) Day/Night in Haven + Water Level.

Then let us know what the Dev's opinions are on what we vote highest. I picked these three because these are things I see pop up consistently and pretty often.

3. Once a week, let a small (10) handful of people recieve "Dev Talk" tickets from a prize wheel! BOUND & Untradeable

These tickets would be used to send specific questions that are required to be answered by the Devs. Upon release of the tickets, you can make an announcement post explaining what questions are out of line, and that they can decline a question for valid reasons. The answer to the question can be posted in PART 1 of my suggestion.

4. Stop the PROMOS

Stahp it! Lol.

That's my suggestion thread for now.

On a seperate note:

Make an Art of Spiral Knights PDF please, will pay $15.00(US) if it has serious content + artist interviews! :3

From,

Mr. Grey

Move over, there's bubble-wrap to be popped!

I'm pretty sure that they do say what their working on, they just haven't worked on content that has more of a significant impact on SK to put in a new Whats in Development since the gunner update announcement

Straight-Line

Try contacting Three Rings on the "Support Portal".

I know but they're obviously working on different things within the update. I just don't think as many people really get on the test forums, or know what changes are being developed. I've played long enough to see that their info isn't exactly constant. Plus I'm not saying we need an exact description of everything, but some more specific discussion on what's going on from time to time. As in what problems are being tackled, things like the such.

I tend not to send a support ticket since they redirect you here, but I did after you said so, and they responded saying that it was interesting and that if I haven't that I should just post here since the staff does read it.

Would be nice.

I, too, wish the developers would have a little more direct contact with us where both sides are knowingly engaged. Other members of Three Rings' are great to talk to, but often aren't in the same loop as the developers in terms of knowing what is going on directly.

At the same time, whenever a developer has spoken to the community, they are typically shamed by one or more person. That Gyle-of-whatevertheirnamewas developer was eaten up by angry people even after quite a few people voiced their positive appreciation of their talking to us... Plus we got that "You can't win the 1984 superbowl" saying, which was fun in-of-itself.

What I would like is for the GMs to talk with us a bit more. They may not know as much as the developers, but they are a bit more beloved by the community for... Reasons. It's always a pleasure to see the little "admin" sticker on posts that float around and have a little silly comment coming from a game master - it makes the players feel more friendly towards Three Rings seeing them acting like people and not a company.

Finally, it would be nice for someone to make a FAQ post of the month. Even ambiguous answers would be nice if we were given a refreshment every month.
Example:
Q. Where is the gunner update?
A. It's still in development, we haven't forgotten about it! It will be released when it's ready.

Q. Do GMs actually read through the forum posts?
A. Yes! We read through every post made on the forums, even if we can be a bit slow on noticing something. If you want to bring something to our immediate attention, contact us directly here and we'll look into it.

Q. Can I give you a hug?
A. Come 'ere, you!
