I read on wiki about a sword that is currently not ingame but to do with GMs. It had some names but was called The Third Troika. It did shock and looked like both others except for its shock DMG. Please make it by boss recipes like the Graviton Vortex!

plzplzplz!!!!!

+1 but....

Considering troikas in general are underused I think this sword would get a bit of hype during the release and then would get ignored pretty much after that..

Would like it, but I don't think SK sees a lot of profit in that move.

It would actually be pretty mediocre, if it were a just sudaruska but with shock involved. It'd basically be triglav, but cooler looking... do you see people celebrating triglav as the greatest thing? No. Even if it were made elemental, it would make poor use of the enemy's lessened defense. Rather, a heavy sword balance patch that redoes part of the engine to fix all heavy swords would be much better than just throwing this sword in the mix.

Also, the first name mentioned on the wiki article was "Gram". Perhaps we should call it that.... http://wiki.spiralknights.com/The_Third_Troika

Eah...

I'd love to have it usable by more players. Also if the first hit dealt shock then we could have it be a usable troika for lockdown(because we all love it when that charge attack goes through).

Not really something I really think would make the game go in any direction at all. Maybe shove it into a prize box at 30% with another weapon and call it a day, making it craftable with a different skin a month or two later.

I suppose that would be another really good idea, actually.

Second hit deals half the damage of sudaruska, but 100% minor shock chance. First hit is the same, and charge only has one hit but a larger radius and high chance of shock all around. I could get behind that. I could reaaalllyy get behind that.

@ Fangel status chance OP

Shock on the first hit would be OP, I'm willing to let the Trig's status chance on combo and not just charge (like the Suda) go just because it is a PVP earned weapon. But if you want a status on every hit chance you need some serious penalty, FOV is slow and has less power plus the charge (while freaking powerful) can set you on fire.

Derp.

I didn't clarify but I meant the first hit of the charge. That would allow both the smack and the explosion to hit to deal massive damage.

If just the first hit dealt shock it would be exactly like triglav but better. I'd rather we do something to differentiate the two............

Like using your idea for a sudaruska variant that shocks on the charge, and making Triglav's 2nd hit always freeze (damage reduction, if necessary), and its charge only freeze occasionally.

IDK, the first part of any troika slam is meant for flinch so that the explosion that follows it deals damage and status easier. (plus in the milliseconds between the impact and explosion something could walk in but nothing can walk out due to the godly flinch rate)

The bigger question is how would one get this weapon and would how this weapon is obtained justify getting status at the combo end? If it is PVP only or event then sure, but if it is HOH no. If it is Basil only that would be something to flip a coin on.

Still the largest factor in this weapon's release would have to be a future buff to the heavy normal swords.

@Holy-Nightmare

The first hit of the slam doesn't flinch most monsters in Elite T3, it's the explosion afterwards that does more damage and therefore higher flinching.

True.... in T3 the status on the slam would be helpful but it is fine as is ATM. The problem is that few actually use normal heavy swords.
