Shadowed wolvers are wolvers with shadow skin and red eyes (just like Snarbolax). They are invincible (just like Snarbolax). They are encountered on specific T2 and T3 levels. These levels are Blackened Forests (because I don't want to repeat the name "gloaming woods" :P). They work very similar to Snarbolax. The level have a lot of bells to hit and stun the wolvers, so they are vulnerable for about 2-3 seconds. When vulnerable, they got yellow skin and green eyes (just like Snarbolax). BUT, there's a little diference. They can be stunned by weapons(:D) and shield bash(maybe?). So you can bring Sudaruskas, Rigadoons, BABs, Irontechs, Stagger Storm to make your life easier! Stun them with Stagger storm and hit them ALL!

On case you are in doubt about how the levels design could be, just think on regular wolvers lairs but more dark.

Hope you enjoy this!
Questions?

P.S: The stats of shadowed wolvers are the same of the normal ones. They difference is just the invincibility, explained on suggestion. Maybe I'll add something more to Blackened Forests later... Maybe...

Interesting but bells are

Interesting but bells are pretty much limited to snarby levels. It would be interesting but I think this would be more of a monster you find after entering the core (whenever they decide to do that).

For gaining invincibility shouldn't they get some nerf? like less hp or less attack? Being incredibly rare is OK but even in the clockworks (aside from BK event) the Carnavon shows up in very small numbers.

No thanks.

If this is in a certain level, it's do-able. However, it's not that great. Invincible enemies aren't really that fun to fight. The reason the Snarbolax is fun is because it's a boss monster.

The only times invincible is good in this game is:
A) a boss monster that you need to make vulnerable
B) a monster that "chases" you and never dies, however you can avoid it
C) a miniboss or boss monster that has its own phases of vulnerability that you can predict.

Examples: A) Snarbolax/Roarmulus. B) Grimalkin, or maybe a golden trojan if those ever come back. C) Battlepods.

When you have a monster that we can kill, but put it behind bars of invincibility unless we have a weapon that can stun, fights become a little less fun.
I do think this would make people make gear that can stun, but out of spite rather than for the gear because it's now a "requirement", or so they'll say.

This is a fun gimmick, but not something people would really want to fight. Now if we had a pack of rapid snarbolaxes hunting us down as we go through a level, and at the end we have to defeat them (as there are no beast bells up until that point), that would get you your shadow wolver fill without causing too much pain. Perhaps only one snarbolax would be ever actually be able to fight you at once until the end area?(This might also allow us to re-introduce vog cubs and skolvers for freeze and fire themed levels.)

the look you described was a void wolver

also invincibility could be a good idea, but maybe lose it when attacking?

Okay, let's to improve this.

So my error is on the invincibility. Okay. For while, I propose it:
A)Reduce HP or attack (just like Holy-Nightmare said)
or
B)Swap the invincibility by a great defense, so you can do damage, but not destroy them.
or
C)Increase the time of invulnerability, so you can stun them on a bell and have more time to hit them.
These are the fast proposes that tries to not change them too much and make them fun to beat.

Just to emphasize: They can be found just on Blackened Forests.

The ones that change them more:
A)Just the Shadowed Alpha Wolver have invincibility. Alpha wolver will lost his invincibility when all wolvers are beated.
or
B)Swap the invinvibilty by a new mechanic: how they are on their on lair, shadowed wolvers can approach really invisible. The forest offers a camouflage to them. But they can be seen on this way: with a bump(it makes sense to me), when they attack, so you can see that you aren't being attacked from nowhere, or when stunned. So stun will offer a vantage, it won't be a must. They hide again just when they stay out of battle for about 10 minutes.

No matter the changes we do, the levels will have bells.

Now to responses.
@Holy-Nightmare
I don't want to be so rare. Maybe found just on Arcade, but I don't want to be rare. I want them be a lair just like any other.

@Fangel
I see your points and thanks for that. I just came with the idea tonight, when I was about to sleep, so it wasn't well thought. Your critics helped a lot.
I'll add your idea of a Snarbolax running before us. It appears to be very fun. Maybe just a enemie similar to Snarby. So it can appear more new and interesting.

@Oohnorak
I was thinking on them be totally black(just like Snarbolax). The void wolver have some grey parts. And about invincibility... I don't think it is needed. Since you stun them with the bells or weapons...
