Lockdown Spam-Off
Two players are locked in separate rooms, each containing a single punching bag. The goal is to deal the most damage to your bag in 60 seconds. No access to arsenal station/locker room.
Entry fee: free
Winner receives bragging rights. (there will be weekly record board as well as an all time damage record)
Loser receives ostracization by the Spam-Off community.
Target Community: People who like to think they are better than others at PvP.

Bullet Time Lockdown
Exactly the same mechanics as Lockdown except events are played out at 1/10th the normal speed. Chat text and the Minimap are still updated normally. Timer limit is extended to 20 minutes.
Entry fee and prizes are the same as normal Lockdown.
Target Community: People who like to think Lockdown is a game more about prediction than reflexes and ping.

Blast Network Frenzy
Free for all Blast Network in a large rectangular room with no internal barriers. Bomb explosions have a Graviton effect that will suck in nearby players if they aren't running in the opposite direction.
Entry fee: 100 crowns
Winner receive tokens that can be saved and traded in for Mad bomber Equipment at Sullivans. Each piece costs 9001 tokens.
Losers receive a lot of rage.
Target Community: Anyone who wants to kill some time but is bored with clockworks.

Blastless Network
Instead of normal blast network bombs, each player is given a Shivermist Buster, a Staggerstorm, a Fiery Atomizer, and a Lightning Capacitor. No charging is required. New buffs will give temporary status immunity. Maps will have fewer barriers.
Entry fee and prizes are same as normal Blast Network.
Target Community: People who lag too much for blast-based bombs.

Apocalyptic Overkill
Two teams are placed in a small enclosed area with many Devilite Overtimer spawns. Spawn rate is one Overtimer every 5 seconds until the max capacity is reached (max capacity will be three times the # of players). Players are given a fixed 3 bars of health and an Ironmight plate shield. The only means of attacking is via shield bash. Winner is the team with the most combined HP after 8 minutes or if the opposing team is all dead.
Entry fee: 100 crowns
Winner receives 2 Krogmo tokens and 100 crowns.
Losers receive 1 Krogmo token.
Target Community: People who want to show off their dodging skills and people who like to complain about AT in Lockdown.

Tower of Power
Casual minigame that plays out over the course of a week. There are two empty towers that can be filled with energy. When a player joins, he/she is secretly assigned to a tower (player will not be told which one). Over the course of the week, he/she can donate however many energy to the tower. The total energy of the tower is the combined donation of everyone supporting that tower. The total energy will be displayed graphically until the entire tower is filled in which case increases will no longer be visible.
At the end of the week, the tower with more energy "wins" and a new game begins. There will be no withdrawing from a game after joining.
Entry fee: 500 energy
Winners receive twice the total amount of energy they donated. (minus entry fee)
Losers receive 100 energy.
Target Community: Rich people who like manipulating the energy market. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

For Blastless Network, surely everyone would just stand in one place and drop VTs+Shivers at their feet, and be invincible? Or can you get more than one status immunity at once?

Keyword is "Lightning

Keyword is "Lightning Capacitor" not "Voltaic Tempest".

In reply to your question though, don't buffs stack as it is now? So yes, I would assume so.

For the lockdown spam off idea, would this have no weapon cooldowns?

Hmm.

Some of the games seem to simply be attempts at ego-boosters... Which is fine that you want to separate those people from the rest of the game but causing the most damage to a single target in 60 seconds simply won't be fun. All it means is the best UVs and gear will make people brag... Which they already do. Plus a stationary target doesn't feel as good to attack as a mobile one that can fight back.

I would recommend having some of those training hall robots to waddle about in the room and have a few hazards around. Give them certain colors to show what damage type they deal/resist, so players don't just take a max damage gran faust and click a lot.

That plus I'm pretty sure a max damage cutter with max ASI would pretty much dominate that first category... Because no invincibility frames!

Bullet-time lockdown would be interesting in one way but just the same game in another. What would bullet-time lockdown be? Everyone would be a striker to even have some resemblance of movement. What would work better would be for there to be bullet-time for 10-30 seconds after a point is captured. This means fights for control points would be even more intense and give more reason to players to cap the points so they can "experience new content".

By the amount of tokens you wanted to trade for mad bomber, I assume you're sarcastic with the rewards. If you're serious, I will say no to giving 5* armor away there.

Blastless network would work as long as players gained multiple status immunities, and had next to no health. This means players must hit another player with one, very close range bomb to defeat them.
Guessing we can't take our own gear into both blast network variants.

Overtimer PvP could prove interesting. How large of a room, tile-wise, are you suggesting? Also, could we give the players one, very weak proto gun? The charge shot could maybe go super far. Only reason I say this is because we can manipulate the devilite's dodging this way, and if the charge shot goes super far away, we might be able to meddle with the other team's dodging.

I don't really have much to say against Tower of Power, but I don't have anything for it either. Sounds like it's essentially an energy gamble/sink. However, I wouldn't say "double the energy". I would say get a 66% bonus of what you put in, plus a few other goodies. This puts you at a profit if you only give energy to the winning tower, but nets you a loss if you go for both or the losing tower... Not including the initial fee either.

lol

I started this list as a troll, but then realized some of them actually seemed pretty legit.

Fangel,
The power tower is actually one that I thought may be viable. The players don't get to choose their tower. It's secretly assigned. Initially they can probably deduce which tower they have by the graphical increase in energy, but as the tower fills up it becomes more of a mystery. For people with a lot of energy, it can be used to win big (if they are smart about donations). For those with little, it's a 50-50 situation.

Blastless network also seemed doable. Everyone has 3 bars of health in blast network, so getting lit on fire/shocked can be pretty devastating if you don't have resist. Freeze and stun don't deal damage so I gave them more range to be used as traps. I admit I did not take into account the detonation damage. Perhaps it can be removed so only status do damage.
Also note status buffs are temporary so you probably can't status walk for very long since it requires stacked buffs.

Mystrian,
Why would there need to be weapon cooldowns? It's for people who like to spam and kill everything. The only limit is how fast they can get the server to respond.
