Upon attempting to log in, I receive the message 'Failed to connect to the server', as though the server's down. I've reinstalled thrice and turned off my firewall. I've restarted my PC and been through the FAQ. Haven't played in approximately a month. Game was absolutely fine beforehand, if a tad laggy. There has been no change in my setup, browser, OS, anything. Java's still fine and I meet all the minimum requirements.

Haven't played in 1 month? It's a getdown error I supposed, so do a clean reinstallation : Delete the SK folder (not just uninstalling, but deleting the whole SK folder), and then reinstall from the site/steam.
