Hey, I'd really love for the paper scarab masks to be permanent! Like non-degrading, They're super cute and I'd prefer it over the authentic one, even though I already have the authentic one.

The paper and plastic ones have eyes like the Apocrean Harvester which the authentic one doesn't have.

Hmm...
Agreed. They're very nice art. I think it should be more like this:
you can keep 'em as long as you want, you just can't wear them as much as you want because they're made so poorly. But I know you can take care of fragile things, wearing them only occasionally, and make them last much longer than...a nonstop decay timer...
So like you could equip it for a total of 100 hours of gameplay or w/e (including if you have it on when you log off).
Otherwise it sits in your inventory like anything else.
Let's see who can make theirs last till the next event that has 'em!
I really don't understand why you would have an item that poofs like that (I get it for lore, like they're made poorly and it's just for the season and.... but come on!)
I think the santy hats are just too cute :(

About the Winterfest hats
I don't quite understand the reasoning behind the winter hats going away after the event. Lore-wise, anyways. Game-wise, I know it's because you'd look silly wearing a Santa hat in the middle of Summer, but still.
I would too! Even if I had to pay 10 times more candy tokens..
