Are wepons and armour go upc levels so why can,t are guys go up level and i know there is no point because are items go up levels but it just an idea

No, what I meant was that
No, what I meant was that allowing characters to level up independent of their gear would mean less incentive to upgrade your gear in the first place.
It'd remove some of the impetus to upgrade your gear - and the associated expenditure of Cr and CE - which at the end of the day is what drives the game.
