They did impress you!
After a year of hard work, they finally did release the much anticipated gunner update, after no one would think it was going to come. But who doesn't love winterfest? A game without a Christmas event, isn't a game, well in my world it is.

Last year's winterfest was a cheap death wonderland, reskins that were hardly worth the grind. I left on the first day last year for another MMO's winter event.
The gunner update, well, for me, it is kinda like waiting for a fire cracker to blow up for a whole year and once when it finally exploded, the excitement wore off after a few days. Really, at some point during this year, I just couldn't be bothered anymore with the gunner update and switched to bombs... and now when they finally released it they have to make it a pain in the butt to find the correct recipe and guns are now complete and utterly borken, I am just kind of over it... update, finally... hooray...

I don't think they wanted the update to be ruined.
Instead of selling them in the supply depot, I don't think they wanted to ruin the update, and have people quickly complain again. I do agree with you, it was just an average day when I logged on SK, since I'm not much of a gunner, but I'm still collecting all the guns, because who knows when the next real content update will be coming out?

I am totaly... NOT! What we got last year was just... nothing to make witnerfest interesting. I liked it before when there was only 1 map for winterfest mission. With last year's changes (redisigned old map, new map and new mission) almost noone of my friends got into farming any of both missions... Like Midnight-Dj said many of them just left SK and joined winter event in one other game.

Winterfest is my favorite event. My favorite part about it is winter haven. It looks amazing with snow everywhere, the NPCs wear festive hats and the music is great.

@Hellscreams Yes, I agree. But ONLY if everyone gets one! Thing last year was unfair at all. Some people got none, I got 4, and some people got even up to 10 of those gifts.

That's probably why everyone is all humbugs right now, no one has actually listened too it, Ultraflo is right, I'd rather participate in Winterfest, then worry about my English, but that Winterfest music is so jolly and happy.

Now getting on topic I am a humbug just because red and grey are my favorite color combination of all times. While on steam we'll have some awesome special offers that go far beyond 5%, in SK there will be some grinchlin mission or how I like to call it : the sparkpocalypse mission for the epic reskin.

You can celebrate christmas in reality and still enjoy Winterfest... christmas only happens for one day IRL, nobody's pushing you to play that specific day of the year to enjoy winterfest, Steam's sales or most other christmas related specials on games.

A fun time of year!
I enjoyed the challenge of the Grinchlin Assault mission last year, so I'm looking forward to see if we get any new reskins this year. I'm expecting something new, even if it is something artificial like a battle sprite reskin.
Unless Three Rings wants to get funky and introduce new battle sprites totally, but I'm not going to be expecting anything too big.

That's because they're the same person. Pretty sure Galax wouldn't just disappear and be replaced by someone equally as vexatious.
That plus they posted a screenshot of something that happened to them in-game not too long ago and it was a screenshot from Galax.

SK winter events have always disappointed me with SoL sink and useless reskins, let's see what OOO has in store for us this year, altough my expectation is at an all time low. Come, OOO, impress me.
