Heat Levels

So after your gear fills up its heat bar you need to grind crystal and all the extra heat you get is useless. Well i have an idea to put the extra heat to use. Instead of heat leveling up gear each gear has heat levels. It would be like this:

Heat Level 1: Fire Crystals can be used to upgrade gear
Heat Level 2-4: small chance increase at getting boxes (and doubling level)
Heat Level 5: Small Fire crystal discount
Heat Level 6-9: Small increase in success rate
Heat Level 10: chance to return some fire crystals if leveling up fails
(these probably are not balanced so any ideas on how to balance them would be appreciated)

The first heat level takes the same time as it normally does to heat up your gear while higher levels take longer.

What do you guys think?

No one seems to be talking about patches and tradeoffs :| (though I do get your meaning)

@OP

nope, the forge system has already contributed enough for our playtime(i.e. knights have to play more to get same amount), this suggestion will more likely send players back to the real world . . . permanently. It would be better in my opinion, if the excess heat was transferred to a heat slot in which any heat accepting item could be placed.
