Well I've been really patient with this one but maybe someone can give an idea with this one. Moonstone and Valestone is so far dead weight for any knight carrying this minerals, so my proposition is maybe someone can give OOO an idea to what to do with this. For example, 2 more Battle Sprites that will need this like a Ice-type Battle Sprite (Moonstone) that can freeze opponents and a Nature-type Battle Sprite (Valestone) that can buff you and debuff the opponent using Mother Nature or something. We can just simply remove it too if anyone doesn't care about those 2 minerals.

So thanks for reading and please post your suggestions and thoughts about this.

Merge Minerals into

Merge Minerals into Shards.

Shards are the only 0* materials and are the building blocks of alchemy except for sprite food which can not use them at all. Minerals are effectively a secondary set of non-material shards that can only be crafted into food and nothing else.

Unifying the two into just a bunch of shards while also making sprite food consume shards would certainly make mineral pick ups more functional and also solves the blue and green mineral problem.

@idea

There's certainly been many blue/green battle sprite ideas!

What I'd like to see:

when you break down a mineral, it just falls apart into 1-10 shards, with the old "shiny" chance being 10 shards. These are visible/appear for the entire party and are available for picking-up by the entire party of course. Heck, the mineral spire could even explode into shards, throwing them around the area a bit. Lol.

And it would indeed solve that Blue/Green issue: "a very present, currently useless RNG-pool diluting entity in the game."

Making the spires break/explode into material shards would mean:
No more carrying minerals on your back. Good? Bad? Hey, I like seeing my wings and other back accessories, idk about you. But carrying them is cute too. So I'm neutral about the loss of breaking my spine carrying heavy minerals around.

Some significant changes to BS food recipes.

Thought:
Hey, you could even rarely have rarities fall out of them. Minerals are mysterious right? I mean, if minerals can like...contribute to the existence of those creep cakes during caketastrophe, I don't see why one mineral spire out of a few hundred can't drop a spark of life.
