I suggest there should be a button in the options screen of the spiral knights website profile management that contacts the server, figures out what gear the knight you chose to use in forums is wearing, and create an avatar to use in the forums. I'm not mentioning to get rid of the current avatars, but as to have my suggestion as an alternate choice. What do you say, Spiral Knights?

Wish there was just an ingame screen shot that takes those screenshots and we can have a crop option to get a portion of that screenshot as our profile pic. I think the zoom option in haven or even having a studio knight in the game where we can take our knight pics for the forums. Would love it.

Or jus upload an image. Of course rude images would then be a problem...there would always be that one person...
All of our pictures here are "pre-rendered". If anything we need to add a few of the new gears/costumes to our extensive list of avatars we already have.
Plus that's a lot of pictures that will be uploaded to the forums here, and constantly changing. It's not like the server knows the difference in your costumes with pictures, so it might take duplicates and flood itself with too many jpegs.
