Mission: Abyss Arena

Well I was just grinding a Arcade level when I came up with this weird idea. It's a new daily mission called Abyss Arena, it will be an endless series of arenas with no help and no healing pads.

Mission Rules & Mechanics:
-You can either go Solo mode or a Party of 2 - 4 members
-No loot will dropped by monsters (excluding Health Pills, Antidotes, Boosts etc.)
-Each time you clear an Arena you may leave or continue at the Lift
-If you're ever defeated in combat, you will get NOTHING.
-Each Arena will get even more difficult to the point where it's almost impossible (Difficulty is based on Depth or rather the number of Arenas cleared. NOT TIERS)
-Monster-type and Element-type will be completely random
-The amount of Prizes is proportional to the difficulty and amount of arenas cleared (Minimum of 5 prize boxes)
-Upon clearing a Arena you may change equipment make use of different play-styles
-Death is inevitable so choose wisely whether to live or die on this crazy mission! ~Evil Laugh~

Please post some more ideas that you would like I'll quickly update it to match everyone's taste (but not too much though -w-)

- OOO like to encourage teamwork.

- Dunno if that would be done without using void, since it's their signature.

"Each time you clear an Arena a Pop-up box will ask you to continue"
- Not needed. Just use lifts.

"no healing pads."
- I like the forced gauntlet here, but if the difficulty is upping as you go is no-healing really necessary? Another option is to only increase the difficulty every 3 or 5 battles while keeping the no-healing. I feel no-healing + upped difficulty per room would make the top runs quite low. This would be bad as the earnings from the treasure room only system you want in place would mean this mission would have no real calling other than prestige, whereas other prestige missions CAN earn you a pretty penny. Plus the missions would be slightly less endless as there's only so much upping a room can have (If there are devilites until you can't move in one, then you god it out, what comes next?).

Thanks for the point-outs!

Anyways Chaos-Mist, Concerning about the problem you saw about the No healing pads thing. I did say that NO LOOT drops but with the exception of Health Pills, Antidotes, Boosts etc. Also the difficulty that I thought of is not based by your Tier. So the moment you drop there, for example you're a Tier 3 player and using 4* - 5* gear, the enemies you first face are like little bugs to you. I guess you could say the difficulty itself is based on Depth ##.

Ok since OOO likes to encourage teamwork I guess I'll fit your idea for a Party rather than Solo mode, Thanks for the idea.

Like I said before there might not be Loot drops like crowns and heat (or maybe heat, cause you know, Prize boxes doesn't really just magically drop heat when you want it to and when you fought like a 100 levels and you just get a few of them heat) but Health Pills, Antidotes, Boost etc. WILL drop.

The lift thing though, how the heck did I miss it..... O.O

I'll update the thread to add in your ideas and feel free to add more.

This idea feels similar to the winter event grinchlin, besides the fact that it's endless. Besides that, i think it would not be bad. Do you reward players by completion?

An idea that Bland's comment gave me;

Rather than be rewarded with normal arena rewards per battle they are rewarded for multiplying numbers of Battle (Or Abyssal) Tokens (A token of your superior battle might in the Abyss Arena!). A mass number of these tokens could be exchanged for special normal damage based gear (normal as the Abyss Arena is safest fought with normal gear due to the unpredictable nature).

Another point I like here is that Normal gear would be useful. DVS rising up. xD
