I think that the Super Bawl Crown should come back to Spiral Knights and instead of it being called this it should be called the Lockdown Crown or the Lockdown Champion (etc). It will give players a reason to try and get the most points in a week and the winner will receive the crown from King Krogmo.

Maybe the top player does not receive a crown, but gets a mail sent to him/her with some King Krogmo Coin's or some random trinkets. In general the player who gets the most points should be given some sort of prize

I think a better idea would be t give it to Sullivan and have him sell it for 1k krogmo coins

For the main idea of giving the top player something, I guess mailing them a bribe only bombhead mask would do fine

I like the idea of putting it in as a buyable item more than a reward for getting the most points. The point system is dumb and only rewards people that can somehow find time to play the game nonstop AND win rather than people that are just good at the game. If it was buyable from Krogmo it could also be given stats and made into a respectable 5* helmet.

Hmm...

I think super smash bawl had its flaws, but if those can be corrected, it would be a great mini game addition. Would also be cool if the spectators could see each other's characters and chat with each other while spectating. Being just a floating camera doesn't give me the inclination to chat with other players watching.

It would actually be pretty tight if they did add this back into the game somehow. Just in a way that makes sense to everyone at least. (looking at some of the other posts that disagree with the LD/BN point system as wholes)

I read this suggestion already but just now realized that it keeps being misspells as "Super Bawl Crown".

But seriously, it would be neat if there were "PvP tickets" that could be used to get a free, unbound item from Sullivan, or used as a mimic UV ticket at Punch (i.e., if you have no UVs, you get a random number of UVs on your item. If you have one UV on it already, you can only get 1 UV. If you have 2, it is essentially a 2UV ticket and you can still lock the items. Same with 3UVs). Perhaps also unique costume items, such as a Super Brawl Crown, and maybe a Super Brawl Robe.
These items would be unbound and delivered every week to the top 3 PvP players of both Blast Network and Lockdown.

I wouldn't mind if they introduced a new token for LD that you only win from being on the winning team. Maybe that will incite people to actually think about helping their team cap points instead of waiting outside bases which is useless for everyone involved. UV tickets in exchange might not be a bad idea, though I wonder where that leaves the people who already have maxed out gear and can easily change the tide of most games. The rich get richer?

Give the people who only want to play PvP something cosmetic to work towards.

They could have some sort of ranking and First per month gets the crown and everytime he enters a match it could be like TE LAWKDOWN KING HAS ENTERED THE GAME ...lol
