Is it even remotely possible when crafting items you can put additional status resists protection. Like for example a I want to upgrade my plate shield (which has resistance to stun) to a Boosted Plate Shield but i want to add a resistance to poison when i upgrade. Let me know if this is possible.... if not then the developers should really think about putting that in.

Thanks, but damn that sucks i mean the game barely has weapons and armor that protect you against any status effects though, and when they do have one with some resistance status the damage or speed output is crap.

Well I've noticed I always Have Venom Vieler in my weaponry i switch everything else but that bomb All the Time!!!! i have no idea why but i actually like its effects so i just spam the bomb!
You can get a UV Poison Resistance on the shield, but the chance of a UV is only about 11% and type of resistance is random. There have been suggestions before to be able to either increase your chance of a particular UV by including extra materials, or even be able to reroll a UV but nothing like that currently exists in the game.
You can find all kinds of UVs for sale at the Auction House, trade chat or the bazaar section of the forums. Many times it will be cheaper to just buy a UV you want rather than trying to randomly luck one by mass crafting items.
