I know there's a topic about this discussion, but I recently got some really good pic's, and I just wanted to share them with the community.
Please post a picture (if you have one) of rarity's dropping in set's of 3's.

I don't see anything unusual in the first image. You have fire crystals in threes. They always arrive that way.
In the second image you have Sparks of Life arriving in threes, which is extremely unusual. Or at least I've never seen it.
I don't understand why you didn't just continue the other thread, but let's not fight about it.
If you will notice, there is an orb, spark and shinings at the top left corner.
Also to your last question, I didn't continue the old thread, because I didn't want to keep reviving it every once a week.
I believe it's possible (albeit extremely rare) to get 9 fire crystals from a box as well.

Interestingly, the 9 that come from those boxes are rolled in 3s (can get 3 radiant and 6 shining).
Oooh that is interesting. I don't believe I've ever actually found the 9 fire crystals so I had no idea how it worked.
