I definitely understand some of the balance changes that have been made. For example devil bosses turning into devilites when all the workers are dead, and (primarily) the piercing/shadow damages in the recent patch. It was never working as intended or as it should.
But now that you've adjusted some of these small issues, please fix some of the things that work AGAINST us (not just the ones that work for us).
For example Shock status. The ticks make it pretty much impossible to heal urself if there is any type of lag.
1. Shock/fire/curse/poison/etc--u should be able to use a remedy capsule at anytime to fix these. I.e. curse shouldn't curse ur remedy vials. A remedy use should take priority over the shock tick animation. It's ridiculous when u use it while u are not being shock ticked, and 3-4 seconds later u notice u are still shocked and u still have ur remedy capsule because somehow a delayed tick (i guess) hit u. Point being, remedy should take precedence. IF u are afflicted with a status, using remedy should cure that status.
2. Status effects should not be able to be refreshed on the player. THe shock/fire/curse/poison timer should have to count all the down before the effect can be renewed on the player.
You cannot convince me that shock is 'working as intended'. Surely nobody would program that into the game thinking it was a good idea. It's not even a good mechanic if you are going to argue for us needing a level of difficulty. Stunlocking shock isn't the answer.
Anyhow, the bigger point is, don't just 'fix' things that work in our favor. Fix some of the issues in the game that are working against us.
1. I'm pretty sure that Shock and Curse are the only two status ailments that can interrupt Remedy use. And it is annoying to think you've necked a Remedy only to discover that you hadn't...but, well, if you're paying closer attention to what's going on, this tends not to happen. Shock is perhaps one of the most obnoxious status effects in the game, but it's not insurmountable.
2. This isn't consistent; if your shirt's on fire and somebody drops a match on your trousers, it's not as if the match will sit there patiently while your shirt finishes burning. This is only really a problem with Shock, because its very nature means you can't turtle up and wait for it wear off.
