Also I (don't) hate to break it to you but there's absolutely nothing to be gained from being the only player left.
Just exit your guild (if you have one), remove everyone from your friends list, go solo on missions and arcade, go solo if someone appears in the Advanced Training Hall or a Guild Training Hall (not sure if you can do that in haven but can't you switch to another empty instance?).
And if everyone is gone you probably won't have any more updates, so no keeping an update entirely for yourself.
And Gremlins (and any other inhabitants of Cradle) will still have the world, and it won't be easy to take it from them alone.

I know you guys are joking, but I doubt you can call 441 player average not dead, when compared against 1000 player average from 2 years ago or the 2000 player average from 3 years ago.
That doesn't count players on other sites.
And that's still not exactly dead, even if it's closer to being dead.

When you see the company make all the wrong moves, and then censor you over PR reasons, and you still care for the game that's dying, of course it's gonna hurt to watch. I'll pass the popcorn.

No. It's not proportional until proven true. Just like "The world is flat until proven otherwise." We don't know either way, so we shouldn't make assumptions. And Kongregate gets about 10 - 100 players on at a time. Last i checked.
BTW we do know that thw world isn't flat, its a history example.
Also, Proportional to WHAT? Proportional gives ratios. How is 400ish a ration? There's only one term.

Proportional in population trends. The burden of proof is on company employees deciding whether or not to share the statistics. If the negative rumors are false, it'd be in the interest of the company to publish stuff like future plans and stats.
Yes, Steam is probably roughly indicative. Probably SK's general dropoff is proportional to its dropoff on Steam. The game's population has been declining for years. And players have been calling it dead for years. And I've been ignoring them, having fun, making new friends, etc.
If you enjoy the game, then you can still play it, same as always. And if you don't enjoy the game, then go do something else. There's no reason to whine or yell.

I agree with Bopp - if all you're gonna do is complain about it, then don't bother with SK. Don't be the person that ruins SK's great community by whinging about how 'dead' it is. For the people out there who still love the game, including myself, keep playing and don't let what people say bother you.
And as Bopp said, if you don't enjoy the game, go do something else. (And don't come crying to the forums when you miss a major update).
It's not dead haven't you seen all the merchants around in haven everyday
but I see what you mean by "this game is dead" so it's okay though it's more like "It's slowly dying"
