Swiftstrike Buckler - love needed?

I've been playing with the Swiftstrike buckler ever since I first found the recipe on Basil. With the correct combo of gear I've gotten myself to have Ultra in the use of 2 types of weapons, and while this is great it does me little good when going into the T3 levels.
I was wonder if there were others here who agree with the idea that OOO might need to look at giving the Swiftstrike some upgrades allowing it to go to a 5* recipe? Of course it would keep its Normal Def only and its slightly lower power then Barbarous Thorn Shield, though I also think it needs that little something extra to make it a contender. Maybe faster walking speed with your shield up, fast enough that you have normal walking speed while shielding.
Any thoughts or discussion is most welcome on this topic.

This is a great shield if you are using slow weapons like the Troika line and the Sealed Sword line. But otherwise it's average.

Seems pretty solid.
Make it like the Barborous, but with a lower Piercing Defence & IAS instead.

I think they intended to make it only 3* so that T3 users would have a paper shield if they wanted such a big increase in IAS. I still see some people in T3 with it simply because they don't need to block as many hits if they attack faster. Though I do agree that gunslingers need a shield specifically for them, who knows, maybe the new boss will have something to your liking.
Well, it is kind of nice where it is right now. It guards like paper, but the faster attack speed means:
- Gunners can move earlier after shooting (Magnus, autogun lines anyone?)
- Sword people can transition to interrupting hits / shield push quicker
It's a nice niche item if you're good at not getting hit.
I mean really, Increased Attack Speed: High? Think about how much would people pay for that kind of boost on a weapon.
