I found this in the Auction House for 100,000 crowns. Since Aegis is one of the 2 shields I use, I'm leveling it up to use as my new permanent shield. As an Aegis, it's probably worth about 20 times what I bought it for since it's the best possible UV on one of the best pieces of gear. So, is it, to this point, the most valuable piece of gear in Spiral Knights? If not, what is?

great price, I just don't consider it one of the best shields in the game, not even in my top 5 shields. Although I hope it serves you well in your journey, I think this is a forum for selling and price checking (maybe this thread should be in arsenal to discuss top shields)
of all the most valuables items in SK it's far from the top o' the list, just my opinion.
