My danger meter s always empty. Never green, never red. Do I have to turn this on somehow? Thanks.

Well...
Sometimes the Danger Meter is left blank. This is when the AnalySphere technology in it recognizes that your gear fully outweighs the difficulty of the floor you are on. Are you using 3-star gear on a Tier-1 level? This would be a good example of when the Danger Meter turns off.
