Bomb Charge/Speed

So bombs have a speed stat bar, does that refer to how fast they explode after they're already placed?
How do all the bomb type's charge time compare? Which would be the top few fastest to charge?

First, stat bars on weapons are notoriously inaccurate. Don't pay much attention to them.

Second, the bar probably refers to the charge time (between when you start to charge and when the bomb can be dropped), not the fuse time (between when you drop it and it explodes).

Third, the link given above is good, but you can also find charge times in the relevant section of the Bombing Guide.
