Can you double switch using reskins?

You can't double switch with 2 of the same weapon at the same heat level with the same UV's for example try to switch shoot 2 blasters at lvl 10 heat you'll fire 2 shots from the first then switch and shoot once then reload unlike if one of them was like lvl 9 heat you'll shoot twice then switch and shoot twice without reloading so the question here is can you like switch shoot nova driver and nog blaster if they're at the same heat level with the same UV's?

I saw a guy (can't remember his name) he had a nog blaster and a nova driver both with ASI medium both at level 5 heat but one of them had heat +25% so he could switch shoot with them I asked him if he could heat them to remove the heat +25% and try again then mail me the answer been a couple of days and didn't get the answer yet... BTW one more question, does the same apply to swords' cool down (like switching 2 final flourishes with the same UV's and heat level) or does it only work with guns?

There's nothing special about guns. Animations can be cancelled on swords. I'd have to think harder about bombs. I'm not an expert on this stuff.

If you are running 2
If you are running 2 identical weapons and try to double switch with them, the game will read them as 1 weapon. I think it's been like that since 2011-12. and from your post it sounds like it hasn't changed. Hmm I take back what I said about reskins. A friend confirmed that you can double switch a reskin + original weapons, both have same heat/lv/UV.

Does your friend have any heat bonuses on any of the weapons? Also not only the heat level matters but also the heat meter (are they heated with the exact same amount of heat?)

Yeah if the two weapons are identical (in heat and UVs) then switching doesn't work. Simplest solution is to just roll a random 2nd UV on one of them and then switching works again.
I don't know. If I had to guess, I would say "yes".
