So I'm a newbie player and I'm slowly settling into getting acquainted with the higher tier enemies and different kinds of swords. So far I've had the Proto Sword, the Searing Edge, The Flourish/Snarble Bard, and Cutter, and see that all of them play quite differently. I'm liking the Cutter's swiftness, but I see a distinct lack of knockback that would have otherwise been useful in dealing with enemies like say the Flourish or Searing Edge, though on the other hand I noticed I could shield more effectively than before halfway through slashing.

Does anyone have any tips on how to use certain kinds of swords and what they're good for?
